Target engineering and technical roles
Dematic's Green Card sponsorships concentrate in roles requiring specialized skills in automation, systems engineering, and software development. Focusing your application on these technical functions gives you the strongest chance of entering a sponsorship-eligible position.
Start on an H-1B or TN if you're not already a permanent resident
Dematic sponsors multiple visa types, so many Green Card paths begin with a nonimmigrant status like H-1B visa. Demonstrating your value in the role before initiating the Green Card process is a common and effective approach at manufacturing employers like Dematic.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline
Green Card sponsorship at manufacturing companies like Dematic typically begins with PERM, a Department of Labor process that can take a year or more. Ask recruiters early where the role stands in terms of sponsorship readiness so you can plan accordingly.
Find verified Dematic Green Card roles on Migrate Mate
Not every Dematic job posting will mention Green Card sponsorship upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which Dematic openings are realistically tied to permanent residency support.
Align your background with Dematic's manufacturing focus
Dematic operates in warehouse automation, supply chain systems, and industrial manufacturing. Candidates whose experience maps directly to these areas are better positioned for sponsorship, since employers prioritize Green Cards for roles where specialized industry knowledge is hardest to source domestically.
Ask about EB-2 versus EB-3 during the offer stage
Dematic files under both EB-2 and EB-3 categories depending on the role's requirements. Understanding which category applies to your position affects your priority date and timeline, so clarifying this with HR or your hiring manager early is worth doing.
Dematic Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dematic sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Dematic sponsors Green Card visas for qualified employees. The company files petitions across EB-2 and EB-3 categories, primarily for technical and engineering roles within its manufacturing and automation operations. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a candidate has established themselves in the role, often starting from an existing work visa status.
Which roles and departments at Dematic are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Dematic is most common in engineering, software development, systems integration, and operations roles. These positions require specialized knowledge in areas like warehouse automation and supply chain technology, where Dematic regularly demonstrates the need for workers with skills that are difficult to source through domestic hiring alone, a core requirement of the PERM process.
How does the Green Card application process work at Dematic?
Dematic's Green Card process typically follows the employment-based route, beginning with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor. Once approved, Dematic files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Depending on your country of birth and the visa category, you may need to wait for a visa number to become available before completing the final adjustment of status step.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Dematic?
The timeline varies significantly depending on your country of birth and whether you're filing under EB-2 or EB-3. The PERM and I-140 stages alone can take one to two years. Applicants born in countries with high demand, such as India or China, may face additional wait times due to visa backlog. Discussing expectations with Dematic's HR team early is advisable.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Dematic that offer sponsorship?
Not all Dematic job postings explicitly state whether Green Card sponsorship is available. Migrate Mate helps by aggregating and verifying employer sponsorship histories, so you can search Dematic openings with confidence that the roles listed have a real sponsorship track record. Reaching out directly to Dematic recruiters to confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying is also a practical step.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Dematic?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
