Job Roles at Equifax
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Equifax Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technology and data roles
Equifax's Green Card filings concentrate heavily in software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity. Focusing your search on these functions gives you the strongest chance of landing a role where permanent residency sponsorship is a realistic expectation.
Confirm sponsorship intent early in the process
During interviews or recruiter screens, ask directly whether the role has a history of Green Card sponsorship. At Equifax, sponsorship decisions are often tied to the specific team and department budget, not just job level.
Demonstrate long-term commitment to the role
Equifax, like most large employers in the business support and outsourcing sector, sponsors Green Cards for roles it views as permanent needs. Showing that your skills are specialized and difficult to replace domestically strengthens the case for sponsorship.
Use a verified sponsor search to find open roles
Searching broadly wastes time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify active Equifax openings where Green Card sponsorship is confirmed rather than guessed.
Maintain valid nonimmigrant status throughout
If you are currently on H-1B or another work visa at Equifax, maintaining continuous valid status is critical during the Green Card process. Any gap in authorization can create serious complications with pending PERM or I-140 filings.

Does Equifax sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Equifax sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees, primarily in technology, data engineering, analytics, and cybersecurity roles. Sponsorship is generally available for full-time positions where the company has determined the role represents a permanent business need and the candidate's skills are not readily available in the domestic labor market.
Which roles and departments at Equifax are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Software engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and cybersecurity professionals make up the largest share of Green Card sponsorship activity at Equifax. These roles sit within the company's core technology and data products organization. Corporate functions like finance, compliance, and operations sponsor less frequently, though it does occur for specialized positions.
How does the Green Card application process work at Equifax?
Equifax typically sponsors employees through the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories. The process begins with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Once the I-140 is approved and a visa number is available, employees can file for adjustment of status or go through consular processing.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at Equifax?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category. For most countries, the PERM and I-140 stages together take one to three years. Applicants born in India or China face significantly longer waits due to visa backlogs that can extend the total process by many years beyond the initial filing stages.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Equifax that are open to sponsorship?
Filtering job boards by sponsorship history is the most efficient approach. Migrate Mate verifies which employers actively sponsor Green Cards based on real filing data, so you can search Equifax roles with confidence rather than applying broadly and asking during the interview. Look specifically for technology and data roles, where Equifax's sponsorship activity is concentrated.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Equifax?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
