Target engineering and data roles
FanDuel's Green Card sponsorship activity is strongest in software engineering, data science, and platform infrastructure. Focusing your applications on these technical departments gives you the best chance of landing a role with a genuine path to permanent residence.
Confirm sponsorship before applying
Not every open role at FanDuel comes with Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you time and helping you apply only to positions where a Green Card path is actually on the table.
Understand the PERM process FanDuel uses
Green Card sponsorship at most U.S. employers, including FanDuel, starts with PERM labor certification. Familiarize yourself with how PERM works so you can ask informed questions during interviews and signal that you understand what the employer is committing to.
Raise the Green Card conversation at the right moment
Bring up Green Card sponsorship after you have an offer or during final-stage interviews, not at the start. FanDuel's recruiting team needs to see you as the right candidate first. Premature sponsorship questions can shift focus away from your qualifications.
Highlight skills relevant to the gambling and betting industry
FanDuel competes in a fast-moving regulated industry where specialized skills in odds modeling, payments infrastructure, and regulatory compliance are scarce. Demonstrating industry-relevant expertise strengthens your case that the company genuinely needs to sponsor rather than hire locally.
Ask about the sponsorship timeline during the offer stage
Green Card processing can span several years depending on your country of birth and priority date. Asking FanDuel's HR team about their typical timeline and which employment-based category they file under helps you plan your immigration path realistically from day one.
FanDuel Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does FanDuel sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, FanDuel sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is not automatic with every hire and is most common in technical and data-focused roles. International candidates should confirm sponsorship eligibility for a specific role during the interview process, ideally before or at the offer stage.
Which roles and departments at FanDuel are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
FanDuel's Green Card filings are concentrated in software engineering, data science, and product development. These teams work on the core betting platform, mobile applications, and data infrastructure that drive the business. Roles requiring specialized technical skills are where FanDuel is most willing to invest in long-term sponsorship.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at FanDuel?
FanDuel typically manages Green Card sponsorship through an in-house immigration team or an external immigration law firm. Once you are identified as a candidate for sponsorship, the process usually begins with PERM labor certification, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition. Your employer's immigration counsel will guide each stage, but understanding the sequence in advance helps you stay oriented.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by FanDuel?
Timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the employment-based category FanDuel files under. For candidates born outside high-demand countries, the process from PERM filing to Green Card approval can take two to four years. Indian and Chinese nationals face significantly longer waits due to visa backlogs. Ask FanDuel's HR team about their typical process at the offer stage.
How do I find and apply to FanDuel Green Card sponsorship jobs?
The most effective approach is to search specifically for roles where FanDuel has a documented sponsorship history. Migrate Mate aggregates verified Green Card sponsor data so you can identify which FanDuel positions have historically come with sponsorship, rather than relying on vague job description language that often goes unverified until late in the process.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at FanDuel?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
