Job Roles at Hologic
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Hologic Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Hologic's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in manufacturing, engineering, and regulatory affairs. Focusing your search on roles in those departments gives you the strongest chance of finding a position tied to a real sponsorship pathway.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Most Hologic Green Cards go through PERM, where the company must document recruitment efforts before filing. Knowing this process helps you ask the right questions about timeline and employer commitment during interviews.
Ask about sponsorship intent early
During interviews at Hologic, ask directly whether the role has been sponsored for Green Cards before or if the hiring manager can confirm sponsorship eligibility. Getting clarity early saves time if the position doesn't qualify.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, including Green Card filings. This helps you confirm Hologic's track record before applying and identify which roles have historically led to sponsorship.
Align your experience with Hologic's core business
Hologic operates in diagnostics, surgical products, and medical imaging manufacturing. Candidates with backgrounds in regulated manufacturing environments, quality systems, or life sciences research are most likely to be considered for Green Card-eligible positions.
Be prepared for a multi-year timeline
Green Card sponsorship at any manufacturing company involves multiple stages across years. Confirm Hologic's willingness to support the full process, including I-140 filing and adjustment of status or consular processing, before accepting an offer.

Does Hologic sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Hologic sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees. Sponsorship is typically offered to professionals in technical, engineering, scientific, and regulatory roles where specialized skills are required. Sponsorship is not automatic and depends on the specific position, business need, and Hologic's assessment of long-term workforce planning for that role.
Which roles at Hologic are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Hologic tends to be concentrated in manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, research and development, and software engineering roles. These departments require specialized qualifications that align with the criteria used in employment-based Green Card categories like EB-2 and EB-3.
How do I find Green Card-sponsored jobs at Hologic?
Start by searching for open roles in Hologic's technical and engineering departments. Migrate Mate lets you filter for employers with verified Green Card sponsorship histories, making it easier to identify active Hologic listings where sponsorship has been offered before. Always confirm sponsorship eligibility directly with the recruiter before advancing in the process.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Hologic?
Once Hologic agrees to sponsor, the process typically begins with PERM labor certification, where the company documents that no qualified U.S. worker was available. After PERM approval, Hologic files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. Depending on your visa category and country of birth, you then proceed to adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take at Hologic?
The full Green Card process at Hologic typically spans several years. PERM labor certification alone can take one to two years, and I-140 processing adds additional time. For applicants born in high-demand countries such as India or China, visa backlog wait times can extend the overall process significantly beyond initial filing.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Hologic?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
