Target roles aligned with Kestra Financial's core business
Kestra Financial operates in the financial services and holding company space. Green Card sponsorship is most likely for roles in compliance, financial planning, technology, and operations where specialized expertise is harder to source domestically.
Understand the EB-2 vs. EB-3 distinction before applying
Kestra Financial sponsors through both EB-2 and EB-3 categories. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree. Knowing which category fits your background helps you apply for the right roles.
Raise Green Card sponsorship during the offer stage, not earlier
Bringing up Green Card sponsorship too early in the interview process can raise concerns. Wait until you have an offer or the employer signals strong interest, then ask directly whether the role is eligible for permanent residency sponsorship.
Confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation
PERM-based Green Card sponsorship requires the role to demonstrate a specific degree requirement. For Kestra Financial positions, ensure your job description clearly ties the responsibilities to a defined field of study before the process begins.
Use verified sponsorship data to focus your job search
Not every open role at Kestra Financial will include Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize applications where permanent residency support is genuinely available.
Be prepared for a multi-year PERM timeline
Green Card sponsorship through employment involves PERM labor certification, an I-140 petition, and visa availability based on your country of birth. Starting a role with this awareness helps you plan your immigration timeline realistically alongside your career at Kestra Financial.
Kestra Financial Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Kestra Financial sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Kestra Financial sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees, primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories. Sponsorship is typically offered for specialized professional roles where the company has a demonstrated need that cannot be filled by the domestic workforce alone. Not every open position will qualify, so it is worth confirming sponsorship availability directly during the hiring process.
Which roles at Kestra Financial are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Roles in compliance, financial technology, data analysis, and corporate operations tend to be the strongest candidates for Green Card sponsorship at Kestra Financial. Positions that require a specific degree in a specialized field and sit within the company's core financial services operations are most likely to meet the specialty occupation standard required for PERM-based sponsorship.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Kestra Financial?
The process typically begins with PERM labor certification, where Kestra Financial must demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. This is followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. Once approved, you wait for a visa number to become available based on your preference category and country of birth before adjusting status or going through consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take if sponsored by Kestra Financial?
The timeline varies significantly depending on your country of birth and the preference category used. For most applicants born outside of high-demand countries, the PERM and I-140 stages combined can take one to two years. Applicants born in India or China may face considerably longer waits due to visa backlog. Starting the process as early as possible in your employment is strongly advisable.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Kestra Financial?
Searching directly on Kestra Financial's careers page is a starting point, but listings rarely specify Green Card eligibility upfront. Migrate Mate helps by surfacing verified employer sponsorship histories, so you can identify Kestra Financial roles where sponsorship is a realistic outcome rather than spending time applying to positions where it is unlikely to be offered.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Kestra Financial?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
