Align your credentials to EB-2 or EB-3
Lennox files Green Cards through both EB-2 and EB-3, and which category fits you depends on your degree level and role. Engineers with advanced degrees or exceptional ability typically qualify for EB-2, while EB-3 covers most skilled manufacturing and technical positions requiring a bachelor's degree.
Target engineering and technical roles specifically
Lennox's Green Card sponsorships cluster in engineering, product development, and technical operations tied to HVAC and climate-control manufacturing. Roles in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering have the clearest sponsorship precedent, so focus your applications on those departments rather than corporate or administrative functions.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline
Most Lennox Green Card filings go through PERM, which requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers were available. The process typically runs six to eighteen months before your I-140 petition can even be filed, so negotiate a long-term employment arrangement before counting on Green Card completion.
Verify prevailing wage before salary negotiations
Lennox must pay you the DOL-certified prevailing wage throughout your Green Card process. Use the OFLC Wage Search before accepting an offer to check the wage level for your specific occupation and location, so your offered salary won't trigger a PERM rejection or delay later in the process.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Lennox's sponsorship history
Before applying, search Lennox on Migrate Mate to review their verified Green Card filing history by role and location. Knowing which job titles and facilities have active sponsorship precedent lets you tailor your application to the positions where your chances of a sponsored offer are genuinely strongest.
Raise sponsorship intent early in interviews
Lennox hiring managers in manufacturing divisions aren't always briefed on immigration sponsorship policy before interviews. Ask directly whether the specific role has budget and legal support for Green Card sponsorship, and confirm with HR before accepting an offer so there's no ambiguity once PERM recruitment begins.
Lennox Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Lennox sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Lennox sponsors Green Card visas for qualified candidates, primarily in engineering and technical manufacturing roles. Sponsorship is handled through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories and typically requires going through the PERM labor certification process. Not every open role comes with a sponsored Green Card offer, so confirming sponsorship availability before accepting a position is essential.
Which roles and departments at Lennox typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Lennox is most common in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering roles tied to HVAC product development and manufacturing operations. Technical positions in product engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering have the clearest sponsorship precedent. Corporate functions such as finance, marketing, and HR are less likely to receive Green Card support.
How do I find out which Lennox positions are open to Green Card sponsorship?
The job posting won't always state it directly. Search Lennox's verified Green Card filing history on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and locations have a documented sponsorship track record. Then confirm with the hiring manager or HR recruiter during the interview process before moving forward with an offer.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Lennox?
Lennox's Green Card process typically starts with PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take six to eighteen months. Once PERM is approved, Lennox files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS on your behalf. Depending on your country of birth and the visa bulletin's priority dates, you may wait additional time before adjusting status or attending a consular interview.
What realistic timeline should I expect for a Green Card through Lennox?
From the start of PERM recruitment to receiving a Green Card, expect a minimum of two to three years for most EB-3 cases, and potentially longer if you're subject to a visa backlog based on your country of birth. EB-2 cases with an approved PERM can move faster. USCIS processing times and priority date movement both affect the final timeline.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Lennox?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
