Match your credentials to EB-2 or EB-3
Right At Home files under both EB-2 and EB-3, so your degree level and years of experience determine which pathway applies to your role. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability; EB-3 covers professionals, skilled workers, and unskilled positions in distribution operations.
Research prevailing wage before salary negotiations
PERM labor certification requires Right At Home to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Run your job title through the OFLC Wage Search before any offer conversation so you can verify the employer's offer meets the DOL wage floor.
Target roles with documented labor shortages
PERM requires Right At Home to prove no qualified U.S. workers are available for your position. Distribution and wholesale roles with specialized logistics or supply chain credentials face less domestic competition, which strengthens the labor market test and reduces the risk of PERM denial.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Right At Home's filing history
Before investing time in Right At Home's application process, check its Green Card filing history by role and location on Migrate Mate. Seeing which job titles the company has sponsored before tells you where your candidacy has realistic precedent and which departments actively use the program.
Secure an internal sponsor before filing starts
Right At Home's Green Card sponsorship requires a hiring manager to champion the PERM process internally. Identify your direct supervisor early, confirm they understand the multi-year timeline, and get written confirmation that the role will remain open through adjudication before USCIS filing begins.
Document your O*NET occupation code upfront
PERM job descriptions must align precisely with DOL's occupational definitions. Pull your O*NET occupation profile and cross-reference the listed duties, required education, and skill requirements with the actual job description Right At Home intends to file, flagging any gaps before the application is submitted.
Right At Home Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Right At Home sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Right At Home sponsors Green Card visas through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories. Sponsorship is tied to specific open roles and is not available on request outside of active hiring. Candidates with relevant distribution and wholesale experience who receive a job offer are the primary candidates for sponsorship consideration.
Which roles at Right At Home typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Right At Home is most common in roles that require specialized skills or credentials within distribution and wholesale operations. Positions in logistics management, supply chain coordination, and technical operations tend to have stronger sponsorship precedent because they are harder to fill through domestic hiring alone, which supports the PERM labor certification requirement.
How do I start the Green Card process at Right At Home?
The process begins after you receive a formal job offer. Right At Home's HR or legal team initiates the PERM labor certification with the DOL, which tests the local labor market before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant visa petition. Your role throughout PERM is limited, but you should provide accurate credential and employment history documentation promptly when requested.
How long does the Green Card process take at Right At Home?
The full employment-based Green Card process typically spans several years from PERM filing to visa issuance, and wait times vary significantly based on your country of birth and the preference category you qualify under. USCIS updates visa bulletin priority dates monthly, so your actual wait depends on both queue movement and how quickly Right At Home completes each filing stage.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Right At Home?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at employers with Green Card filing history, including positions at Right At Home. Filtering by employer and visa type lets you identify which specific job titles are currently open and have sponsorship precedent, saving time compared to applying broadly and later discovering a role doesn't qualify for the program.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Right At Home?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
