Target operations and logistics roles
SRS Distribution's Green Card sponsorships tend to concentrate in roles tied to its core distribution and wholesale business. Logistics coordinators, operations managers, and supply chain specialists are among the functions most likely to qualify for employer-sponsored Green Card filings.
Understand the EB-2 versus EB-3 distinction
SRS Distribution files under both EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. EB-2 typically requires advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers. Knowing which category fits your background before applying helps you frame your qualifications correctly during the hiring process.
Build tenure before expecting sponsorship
Distribution and wholesale employers like SRS typically initiate Green Card sponsorship for employees who have demonstrated value over time. Starting on an F-1 OPT or TN visa and proving your fit within the company significantly improves your chances of eventually receiving Green Card support.
Raise sponsorship early in negotiations
Don't wait until after you've accepted an offer to ask about Green Card sponsorship. Bring it up during the offer stage when you still have leverage. Ask specifically whether the role has been sponsored before and which team handles immigration at SRS Distribution.
Use verified sponsorship data when job searching
Not every SRS Distribution job listing will mention Green Card sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus only on roles where Green Card support is a realistic outcome at companies like SRS.
Prepare for the PERM labor certification process
Most EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorships at SRS Distribution begin with PERM labor certification, where the employer must demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. Understanding this process helps you set realistic timeline expectations and work constructively with the company's immigration counsel.
SRS Distribution Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does SRS Distribution sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, SRS Distribution does sponsor Green Card visas. The company files under the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories, primarily for roles that support its distribution and wholesale operations. Sponsorship is selective and typically extended to employees who have already established a track record within the company rather than new hires from the outside.
Which roles and departments at SRS Distribution are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at SRS Distribution tends to align with the company's operational core. Roles in logistics, supply chain management, operations, and technical functions tied to distribution infrastructure are the most common candidates. Corporate functions such as finance and IT may also qualify depending on the specific position and the candidate's educational background.
How does the Green Card application process work at SRS Distribution?
For most EB-2 and EB-3 cases, SRS Distribution's process begins with PERM labor certification, where the company documents its recruitment efforts to satisfy Department of Labor requirements. Once PERM is certified, SRS files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. After that, you either adjust status within the U.S. or go through consular processing abroad, depending on your situation.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through SRS Distribution?
Timeline depends heavily on your nationality and the visa category SRS files under. EB-2 and EB-3 petitions for applicants from India or China face significant priority date backlogs that can extend the wait by years. For applicants from most other countries, the process from PERM filing to Green Card approval can take roughly two to four years when accounting for each stage.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at SRS Distribution?
Start by securing a role that aligns with the functions SRS has sponsored before, then use the time on your initial work authorization to demonstrate clear value. When evaluating opportunities, Migrate Mate can help you identify roles at SRS Distribution backed by verified Green Card filing history so you target positions with a realistic path to sponsorship rather than guessing from job descriptions alone.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at SRS Distribution?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
