Target technical and engineering roles first
Viant Technology's Green Card sponsorships concentrate in software engineering, data infrastructure, and ad tech development. These roles align most consistently with EB-2 and EB-3 qualification standards, so focusing your application on technical positions improves your sponsorship prospects significantly.
Demonstrate long-term commitment early
Green Card sponsorship requires multi-year employer investment. In interviews, emphasize your interest in a sustained career at Viant rather than short-term project work. Hiring managers weigh retention potential heavily when deciding whether to initiate a permanent residency filing.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Most employer-sponsored Green Cards at marketing technology companies begin with PERM, where the employer must document recruitment efforts. Knowing this process shows recruiters you understand the commitment involved and reduces friction in sponsorship conversations during the offer stage.
Connect your OPT or H-1B status to Green Card readiness
If you're currently on F-1 OPT or H-1B visa, Viant already understands these visa types. Framing your Green Card request as a natural continuation of existing sponsorship, rather than a new burden, makes the conversation easier for hiring and HR teams.
Research verified sponsorship history before applying
Confirming that a company has genuinely sponsored Green Cards before reaching the offer stage saves time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize Viant and similar advertising technology employers with confidence.
Engage with Viant's marketing and data teams directly
Viant operates at the intersection of programmatic advertising and data science. Roles involving audience targeting, identity resolution, or marketing analytics often require specialized skills that strengthen a Green Card case. Networking with these departments increases visibility for sponsored openings.
Viant Technology Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Viant Technology sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Viant Technology sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company operates in the advertising technology sector and has filed permanent residency cases for skilled workers in technical and analytical roles. Sponsorship is typically offered after an employee establishes tenure and demonstrates value in a position that meets EB-2 or EB-3 eligibility criteria.
Which roles and departments at Viant Technology are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Viant Technology is most common in software engineering, data science, platform development, and marketing analytics. These roles require specialized degree-level expertise that supports EB-2 and EB-3 petition requirements. Corporate functions like finance or operations are less frequently sponsored, though eligibility depends on the specific position and its documented requirements.
How do I navigate the Green Card process at Viant Technology as an employee?
The process typically starts with PERM labor certification, where Viant must conduct a formal recruitment effort and demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. After PERM approval, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. You should coordinate closely with Viant's HR and any retained immigration counsel to track each stage and respond to documentation requests promptly.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at a company like Viant Technology?
The timeline depends on your country of birth and the visa category. PERM alone can take a year or more. For most applicants not subject to per-country backlogs, the full process from PERM filing to Green Card approval spans two to four years. Applicants born in India or China face significantly longer waits due to visa backlogs that can extend a decade or more.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Viant Technology?
Searching specifically for roles at verified sponsors saves considerable time. Migrate Mate lists companies with confirmed Green Card sponsorship histories, including Viant Technology, so you can browse open positions knowing the employer has an established track record. When applying, confirm during early conversations that the specific role you're targeting is eligible for permanent residency sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Viant Technology?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
