Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. As a Distribution Research Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and optimization of all logistics processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.

- This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.
- This role requires up to 5% domestic travel.
What You Will Do:
- Apply process improvement tools and methodologies to support the implementation of efficient and competitive logistics solutions.
- Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain logistics process engineering standards, tools, and best practices, ensuring consistent implementation across current and new operations.
- Evaluate logistics processes and workflows, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve process-related issues.
- Provide business support for order sourcing and order processing systems, serving as a key resource for customer services and internal stakeholders.
