Align your credentials with U.S. licensing requirements
H2 Health hires licensed clinical professionals, so your foreign therapy credentials must be evaluated and recognized by the relevant U.S. state licensing board before you apply. Start the credential evaluation process early, as delays here stall everything downstream in your H-1B timeline.
Target outpatient rehabilitation roles specifically
H2 Health's H-1B sponsorship concentrates in outpatient rehab settings for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Narrowing your applications to these clinical tracks improves your chances of landing a role that qualifies for sponsorship rather than support or administrative positions.
Research prevailing wage expectations before negotiating
Your H-1B offer must meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your occupation and the specific metro area where H2 Health would place you, so you enter salary discussions prepared.
Confirm employer E-Verify enrollment during the offer stage
STEM OPT and H-1B regulations require employers to participate in E-Verify. Confirm H2 Health's enrollment status before accepting an offer, particularly if you're transitioning from OPT and need the employer verified before USCIS processes your petition or cap-gap authorization kicks in.
Use Migrate Mate to track H2 Health's filing history
Knowing which roles and locations H2 Health has historically filed for tells you where sponsorship is realistic. Migrate Mate surfaces H-1B Labor Condition Application data by employer so you can see which job titles and clinic locations have active sponsorship records before you invest time applying.
Submit your petition package before the April 1 deadline
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. Coordinate with H2 Health's HR team well in advance to ensure your job offer letter, LCA certification, and supporting documents are ready before USCIS opens the filing window each March.
H2 Health H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does H2 Health sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, H2 Health sponsors H-1B visas for clinical professionals in its outpatient rehabilitation network. Sponsorship is focused on licensed therapy roles, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. If you hold a qualifying clinical degree and relevant U.S. state licensure, H2 Health is a realistic H-1B sponsorship target in the healthcare sector.
Which roles at H2 Health typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at H2 Health is concentrated in direct patient care roles within outpatient rehabilitation. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology positions are the most commonly sponsored titles. These roles meet the specialty occupation requirement because they demand at minimum a master's degree in a specific clinical field, which is a core H-1B eligibility criterion.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at H2 Health?
After receiving a written job offer, H2 Health's HR or legal team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submits an H-1B petition to USCIS on your behalf. Your role is to provide complete documentation including your degree certificates, credential evaluations, and state license. USCIS processes cap-subject petitions with an October 1 start date following the spring registration period.
How long does the H-1B process take at H2 Health?
The full timeline from job offer to approved H-1B status typically spans several months. The DOL must certify the Labor Condition Application within seven business days under standard processing, then USCIS adjudicates the petition, which can take three to six months under regular processing or two to three weeks with premium processing. Build this timeline into your employment start date discussions with H2 Health.
How do I find open H-1B roles at H2 Health?
Start by identifying which H2 Health clinic locations and job titles have a history of H-1B Labor Condition Application filings. Migrate Mate compiles this DOL data so you can filter H2 Health roles by sponsorship track record before applying. Focus your outreach on outpatient rehab positions and confirm with the recruiter early in the process that the role is eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at H2 Health?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
