Job Roles at Jack in the Box
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Jack in the Box H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target corporate headquarters roles
Jack in the Box's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated at its San Diego corporate office, not restaurant locations. Focus your search on technology, finance, supply chain, and operations roles where specialty occupation requirements are clearly met.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early
Because Jack in the Box sponsors selectively in the Food and Beverage industry, raise the H-1B topic before the final interview stage. Asking early saves time and signals you understand the process, which experienced hiring managers appreciate.
Align your degree to the job description
H-1B approval requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Review the job description carefully and be prepared to show your degree directly relates to the position's core responsibilities, not just the industry broadly.
Use verified sponsorship data when searching
Searching for H-1B roles at Food and Beverage companies can be difficult without reliable sponsorship data. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your applications on companies that actually file.
Understand the Cap and lottery timing
Jack in the Box H-1B petitions for new hires are subject to the annual cap and lottery. Registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. Plan your job search and offer timeline with that April-to-October gap clearly in mind.

Does Jack in the Box sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Jack in the Box does sponsor H-1B visas. Sponsorship is focused on corporate roles at its San Diego headquarters rather than field or restaurant operations. Positions in technology, finance, and corporate functions are the most likely to receive H-1B support, and sponsorship decisions are made on a case-by-case basis depending on the role and candidate.
Which roles at Jack in the Box are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Jack in the Box is most common in corporate departments such as information technology, financial analysis, supply chain, and marketing strategy. These roles typically require a specific bachelor's degree or higher, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B petitions. Restaurant and hourly field roles do not qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Jack in the Box?
Once Jack in the Box extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, the company's immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the H-1B petition with USCIS. For cap-subject cases, your employer must submit a registration in March. If selected in the lottery, the full petition is filed before the fiscal year starts on October 1.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Jack in the Box?
For new cap-subject H-1B cases, expect roughly six to eight months from registration in March to an October 1 work start date. USCIS standard processing currently runs three to five months after filing, though premium processing can reduce adjudication to around 15 business days for an additional fee paid by the employer or employee depending on company policy.
How do I find and apply for H-1B sponsored jobs at Jack in the Box?
Search for corporate openings at Jack in the Box directly through their careers page and filter for headquarter-based roles in technology, finance, or operations. Migrate Mate also lists verified H-1B sponsoring employers in the Food and Beverage sector, making it easier to confirm sponsorship history before investing time in an application. Tailor your resume to clearly reflect the specialty occupation requirements of each role.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Jack in the Box?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
