Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B approval at Mosaic Life Care depends on your role meeting USCIS's specialty occupation definition, meaning a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field is required. Pull your occupation's O*NET profile and confirm the degree requirement before applying.
Target clinical departments with documented sponsorship history
Mosaic Life Care's H-1B filings cluster in direct patient-care and allied health roles. Focus your applications on departments like rehabilitation, pharmacy, and specialized nursing units, where the employer has an established pipeline for international hires and understands the process.
Verify your wage offer clears the prevailing wage threshold
Before accepting an offer, cross-check the proposed salary against the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search. An offer below the Level I or Level II threshold will block LCA certification, stalling your entire H-1B filing.
Raise sponsorship intent early in the interview process
Healthcare employers with lean HR teams, like regional health systems, often escalate sponsorship decisions late. Confirm in your first substantive conversation that Mosaic Life Care will file a new H-1B petition for your role, not just extend a transfer from a prior employer.
Use Migrate Mate to review your LCA before USCIS submission
After your employer's attorney prepares the Labor Condition Application, run the details through Migrate Mate to catch wage-level mismatches or occupation code errors that frequently cause RFEs in healthcare filings. Catching issues at the LCA stage avoids costly delays post-submission.
Plan your timeline around the cap and premium processing
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only start employment on October 1. If you're on OPT and your EAD expires before then, confirm your employer will file for cap-gap protection. Premium processing cuts USCIS's adjudication window to 15 business days if Mosaic Life Care elects it.
Mosaic Life Care H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Mosaic Life Care sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Mosaic Life Care sponsors H-1B visas for qualified healthcare professionals. The organization has filed H-1B petitions for clinical and allied health roles, demonstrating an active sponsorship program. Candidates should confirm sponsorship availability for their specific role and department during the interview process, as not every position qualifies.
Which roles at Mosaic Life Care are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Mosaic Life Care is concentrated in roles that meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, typically positions requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field. Clinical roles in nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation therapy, and specialized diagnostic services represent the most common sponsorship categories within the organization.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Mosaic Life Care?
Once you receive a conditional offer, Mosaic Life Care's HR team coordinates with an immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submit the H-1B petition to USCIS. Your part involves providing credential documentation, degree transcripts, and proof of work authorization status. Timelines depend on whether the employer selects premium processing.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Mosaic Life Care?
The full timeline from offer to work authorization spans several months. DOL certifies the Labor Condition Application within seven business days under normal conditions. USCIS standard processing takes three to six months; premium processing reduces that to 15 business days. Cap-subject petitions have a hard October 1 start date, so filing windows are tightly constrained.
How do I find and apply for H-1B jobs at Mosaic Life Care?
Search Mosaic Life Care's careers page directly and filter for clinical and allied health openings. Migrate Mate surfaces roles at health systems with H-1B filing history, letting you prioritize employers like Mosaic Life Care that have sponsored international candidates before. When you apply, address H-1B sponsorship requirements clearly in your cover materials to avoid late-stage surprises.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Mosaic Life Care?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
