Position Summary
Assists the Director of Infection Prevention and Control, in collaboration with the Hospital Epidemiologist, in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the hospital wide surveillance and infection prevention program. Supports managers, staff, physicians and other members of the healthcare team in addressing infection control issues.
Qualifications
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Microbiology, Health Sciences, Public Health required
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Public Health preferred
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- 3-5 years of experience as an Infection Preventionist preferred
