About us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits. Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion. About The Role
We’re scaling quickly, and data is one of our most important strategic levers for unlocking growth and improving patient outcomes. As a Data Analytics Lead, you'll own end-to-end analytics within a business function—shaping our data roadmap, bringing structure to ambiguous problems, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the organization. This role blends analytics engineering and strategic insights: you’ll be responsible for building clean, scalable data models and pipelines, and surfacing clear, actionable insights that accelerate our impact. Reporting to our Head of Engineering, and as one of the first hires focused on analytics at Nourish, you’ll help define our long-term vision for data and collaborate closely across our Operations, Engineering, Product & Design teams. Our data team is fully based in NYC and goes into the office 3-4 days a week, and while we don't have any required number of days in office, we're looking for people who would be excited to be part of that culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full analytics stack for a business-critical function: Take full ownership of the analytics workflow—from raw data to models, dashboards, and insights
- Deliver high-impact insights: Partner closely with business stakeholders to proactively identify and lead analyses that answer key strategic questions, uncover growth and efficiency levers, and shape team priorities and roadmaps
- Build dashboards that drive action: Design intuitive dashboards for a broad range of stakeholders that deliver clarity and enable fast decision-making
- Build and maintain a robust data foundation: Partner with Engineering to validate and optimize pipelines, ensuring our data infrastructure is accurate, scalable, and supports a trusted single source of truth
- Champion a data-first culture: Guide teams to interpret and act on data, write clear documentation, and lead by example in driving evidence-based decisions
- Drive scientific decision-making: Use experimentation data, forecasting, and predictive analysis to inform forward-looking product and business strategy
We’d Love to Hear From You If You...
- Have 4–8 years of experience: You’ve owned analytics for a business function or product area, ideally at a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Bring deep domain expertise in analytics engineering: You write clean, performant SQL, have hands-on experience with tools like dbt, Fivetran, and Metabase or Looker, and have a strong grasp of the fundamentals of data modeling, ETLs, and infrastructure
- Are curious, strategic, and outcome-oriented: You proactively shape the right questions, translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, and balance speed with depth to drive clear, high-impact decisions across the business
- Are a builder who thrives on ownership and impact: You take pride in designing clean, scalable systems from scratch, and you’re excited to take end-to-end ownership—filling gaps, creating structure, and becoming the go-to person others rely on for clarity
- Communicate complex ideas with clarity: You distill deep analysis into crisp, actionable takeaways, whether writing a Notion doc or presenting to leadership, and you earn trust across cross-functional teams by speaking the language of both operations and engineering
- Are motivated by impact and mission: You believe in the power of food as medicine to transform healthcare and are excited to improve lives at scale by contributing to Nourish’s mission

Job Roles at Nourish
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Nourish H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Nourish operates in healthcare technology and clinical services, so focus on roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher, software engineering, data science, clinical nutrition, or similar. Generic or administrative roles are less likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before investing in the application process
Not every open role at Nourish will come with H-1B sponsorship. Ask the recruiter directly during your first conversation whether the position has budget and approval for visa sponsorship before spending time on interviews.
Understand that Nourish's H-1B process runs through an immigration attorney
Like most healthcare technology companies, Nourish works with outside immigration counsel to prepare H-1B petitions. Your role is to provide documentation promptly, degree certificates, transcripts, and employment verification move the process forward.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers in healthcare
Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history rather than guessing. Searching within healthcare technology helps you identify companies like Nourish that have a track record of filing for international candidates.
Apply early enough to align with the H-1B cap timeline
If you need a new H-1B cap slot, Nourish must register in March for an October 1 start date. Time your job search and interviews so an offer can realistically be secured before the registration window opens each year.
Highlight clinical or technical depth that justifies specialty occupation status
Nourish works at the intersection of nutrition, clinical care, and technology. Demonstrating deep expertise in a specific field, not just general experience, strengthens the case that your role qualifies as a specialty occupation under H-1B requirements.

Does Nourish sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Nourish sponsors H-1B visas. The company operates in healthcare technology and clinical services, and it has filed H-1B petitions for roles requiring specialized expertise in those areas. Sponsorship is not available for every open position, so confirming with the recruiter early in the process is important.
Which roles at Nourish are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Roles in software engineering, data and analytics, clinical nutrition, and healthcare product development are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship at Nourish. These positions typically require a specific degree field, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard that H-1B petitions depend on.
How do I apply for a job at Nourish as an H-1B candidate?
Apply through Nourish's careers page and disclose your visa status clearly. During early recruiter conversations, confirm whether the role includes sponsorship. If it does, Nourish will work with immigration counsel to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor and then submit the H-1B petition to USCIS. You can also find Nourish listings on Migrate Mate, which flags verified sponsoring employers.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Nourish?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the timeline is set by the government cycle: registration in March, lottery results in late March or April, and a petition filed before June 30 for an October 1 start. Premium processing can reduce USCIS adjudication to a few weeks, but the overall calendar from offer to work authorization is several months.
What can I do to strengthen my H-1B sponsorship application at Nourish?
Make sure your degree field directly corresponds to the role you are applying for, since specialty occupation approval depends on that alignment. Gather transcripts, degree certificates, and any professional credentials in advance. Being responsive during the petition process matters, immigration counsel often work on tight deadlines, and delays in providing documents can affect filing timelines.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Nourish?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
