Job Roles at Rycon Construction
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Rycon Construction H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target specialty occupation roles
Rycon Construction's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in roles that clearly meet specialty occupation standards, such as structural engineers, civil engineers, and construction project managers with degree requirements in a specific technical discipline.
Lead with your degree-to-role alignment
H-1B approval hinges on showing your degree directly matches the job. Frame your application materials around how your engineering or construction management degree applies specifically to the role Rycon is filling.
Understand construction industry hiring cycles
Construction firms like Rycon typically ramp up hiring ahead of project award cycles. Targeting your application to align with active project phases improves your odds of landing a role with H-1B sponsorship consideration.
Surface verified sponsorship history before applying
Before investing time in an application, confirm Rycon Construction's sponsorship track record. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid applying to companies that don't actually sponsor.
Prepare for prevailing wage documentation
Rycon must file a Labor Condition Application certifying your offered salary meets prevailing wage standards for your role and location. Research DOL wage levels for your job title in Pennsylvania to understand what offer to expect.
Engage hiring managers familiar with H-1B processes
At construction firms, not every recruiter handles visa sponsorship regularly. When reaching out at Rycon, ask early whether the specific team has sponsored H-1B candidates before so you connect with the right decision-makers.

Does Rycon Construction sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Rycon Construction does sponsor H-1B visas. Sponsorship is selective and concentrated in technical roles where a specific degree is required to perform the job, consistent with H-1B specialty occupation standards. Candidates in engineering and construction management disciplines are the most likely to find sponsored opportunities at Rycon.
Which roles at Rycon Construction are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Rycon Construction's H-1B sponsorship is most common in technically demanding roles such as civil engineers, structural engineers, and construction project managers. Positions that require a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field are the strongest candidates for sponsorship, as they meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Rycon Construction?
Once Rycon extends an offer, the company works with an immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits the H-1B petition to USCIS. You'll need to provide educational credentials, employment documentation, and degree equivalency records if your qualification is from outside the U.S. The process is employer-driven, but staying organized with your documents speeds things up.
How long does it take to get H-1B sponsorship through Rycon Construction?
The H-1B timeline depends on USCIS processing and whether Rycon elects premium processing. Standard processing can take several months after the April lottery registration window. Premium processing returns an initial decision within 15 business days. If you're currently on OPT or another status, plan your timeline around the October 1 start date that applies to cap-subject H-1B petitions.
How do I find open H-1B positions at Rycon Construction?
Start by identifying roles at Rycon that align with your technical background and clearly require a degree in your specific field. Migrate Mate lists verified H-1B sponsor companies, including Rycon Construction, so you can find open positions and confirm sponsorship history before applying. Reaching out directly to Rycon's recruiting team to confirm sponsorship willingness before advancing far in the process also saves time.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Rycon Construction?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
