Target roles in IT staffing and consulting
Tech Army's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in technology and software positions. Focus your application on roles like software developer, systems analyst, or IT consultant, where specialty occupation requirements align clearly with H-1B eligibility criteria.
Confirm H-1B sponsorship before applying
Not every open role at Tech Army includes H-1B sponsorship. Before investing time in an application, verify sponsorship availability directly in the job listing or by contacting the recruiter early in the process to avoid wasted effort.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified H-1B openings
Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history. Searching there helps you identify which Tech Army roles have a confirmed track record of H-1B support rather than relying on unverified listings.
Align your degree with the job description
H-1B approval depends on demonstrating a specialty occupation. Make sure your degree field directly matches the role Tech Army is hiring for. A mismatch between your academic background and the job can lead to a Request for Evidence or denial.
Engage recruiters early about H-1B cap timing
Tech Army operates in IT staffing, where project timelines matter. Raise the H-1B cap-subject filing window early in conversations so recruiters can plan around the April registration period and avoid offers that miss the annual deadline.
Prepare for client-site placement considerations
IT staffing firms like Tech Army often place workers at client locations. Understand that your H-1B petition will reference the end-client worksite, and be ready to provide documentation about the specific role and location during the application process.
Tech Army H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tech Army sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Tech Army sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying technology and software positions. Sponsorship is most common in IT staffing and consulting roles that meet the specialty occupation standard. Not all open roles include sponsorship, so confirming H-1B support with the recruiter before applying is strongly recommended.
Which roles at Tech Army are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Tech Army is most common in technology and software positions, including software developers, systems analysts, network engineers, and IT consultants. These roles typically satisfy the specialty occupation requirement because they demand a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field as a standard entry condition.
How do I apply for a role with H-1B sponsorship at Tech Army?
Start by identifying open roles that explicitly mention H-1B sponsorship eligibility, either on Tech Army's careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by verified sponsorship history. Once you apply, confirm H-1B intent early with the recruiter. If selected, Tech Army's legal team or an immigration attorney will manage the Labor Condition Application and I-129 petition filing on your behalf.
What is the typical H-1B sponsorship timeline at Tech Army?
The H-1B process follows the standard USCIS annual cycle. Employer registration opens in March, with the lottery typically completed by late March or April. If selected, Tech Army files the full petition between April and June for an October 1 start date. Premium processing is available if your start date needs to be confirmed faster, though the employer decides whether to use it.
How do I strengthen my H-1B application with Tech Army?
Make sure your degree field directly aligns with the role description, as USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims closely in IT staffing cases. Document any client-site placement details thoroughly, since end-client work arrangements require additional evidence. Raising sponsorship intentions early, staying responsive to document requests, and working closely with Tech Army's designated immigration contact all improve your chances of a smooth petition.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Tech Army?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
