Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership:
- Lead full-cycle delivery of Analytics and AI programs, ensuring successful execution from initiation through deployment and operational transition.
- Align program outcomes with strategic business objectives and drive measurable value realization.
- Oversee project planning activities including scoping, estimation, roadmapping, resource allocation, risk management, and executive-level reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity of requirements, removal of delivery blockers, and smooth execution.
- Drive strong governance across programs, ensuring adherence to delivery standards, security/compliance guidelines, documentation practices, and communication protocols.
- Monitor key delivery metrics (scope, budget, timeline, risks, benefits) to ensure predictable, high-quality execution.
- Champion continuous improvement across delivery methodologies and engineering processes.
- Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous optimization.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistency in engineering practices across teams.
Stakeholder & Business Alignment:
- Develop strong partnerships with business, product, operations, and technology leaders to ensure engineering efforts align with enterprise priorities.
- Translate evolving business needs into actionable engineering plans, roadmaps, and architectural decisions.
- Provide clear, executive-ready communication of program health, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Engineering Leadership:
- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient digital platforms and AI-powered products for healthcare enterprises.
- Leverage foundation models and AI-first architectures to drive next-generation digital solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of solutions across enterprise platforms, web applications, and mobile ecosystems.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including AI/ML engineering workflows, CI/CD automation, DevSecOps, and full-stack/mobile best practices.
- Provide architectural oversight across GCP-native solutions, ensuring alignment with cloud-native principles, enterprise standards, and regulatory compliance.
Product Engineering Excellence:
- Establish and enforce robust engineering processes, SDLC standards, and release management practices to enable predictable, high-quality delivery.
- Promote shift-left approaches for quality, performance, compliance, and security.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams across AI/ML, full-stack, mobile, cloud, and platform engineering domains.
- Elevate engineering craftsmanship, code quality, testing rigor, and operational readiness across teams.
Experience & Qualifications
- 15–20 years of experience in software/product engineering, including 7+ years in engineering leadership roles delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms.
- Healthcare IT expertise (provider domain preferred), with working knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, and GxP compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience with GCP services including Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, and other cloud-native components.
- Strong hands-on expertise across full-stack development (React, Node.js, Python, Java) and mobile platforms (iOS/Android, Flutter, React Native).
- Deep understanding of AI/ML engineering, MLOps, LLMOps, and integration of foundation models into enterprise platforms.
- Advanced expertise in Vertex AI and its generative AI toolset.
- Familiarity with cloud security, FinOps, and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership in building diverse engineering teams, instilling operational rigor, and scaling innovation-driven organizations.
- Strong execution track record delivering high-quality, compliant, scalable products in regulated environments with minimal risk exposure or delivery surprises.
