Align your credentials to clinical sales
Haemonetics Sales roles typically require demonstrated experience in medical device or hospital account management. Before applying, document any exposure to blood management, surgical, or transfusion medicine environments. Reviewers weigh clinical relevance heavily when evaluating international candidates.
Target territory-based roles strategically
Haemonetics structures its Sales team around geographic territories tied to hospital systems and blood centers. Roles in regions with dense hospital networks, like the Northeast or Midwest, tend to move faster through the hiring pipeline and have historically seen more sponsorship activity.
Verify your OPT timeline before the first interview
F-1 OPT gives you 12 months of work authorization, with a 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies. Confirm your program's CIP code meets STEM criteria before your first interview so you can accurately communicate your availability window to a Haemonetics recruiter.
Raise sponsorship directly with the hiring manager
Haemonetics Sales hiring managers often have more flexibility than HR screens suggest. When you reach the final round, ask specifically whether the territory role has been approved for H-1B sponsorship, rather than waiting for the offer stage to surface the question.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active sponsorship roles
Haemonetics posts Sales openings across multiple channels, but not all listings signal sponsorship willingness. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Haemonetics roles that align with your visa type, so you spend your outreach on positions where sponsorship is already on the table.

Find Sales at Haemonetics JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Haemonetics sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Haemonetics has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales professionals. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open role, and decisions depend on the specific position, territory, and timing relative to the USCIS H-1B cap registration window each spring. Raising the question early in the process helps you confirm whether a particular role is approved for sponsorship before investing significant time in interviews.
Which visa types does Haemonetics commonly use for Sales roles?
Haemonetics has sponsored H-1B visas and supported F-1 OPT and CPT work authorization for Sales positions. TN status is also an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. For candidates earlier in their job search, F-1 OPT is often the most practical starting point since it allows you to begin work without waiting for a separate petition approval.
What qualifications does Haemonetics expect for Sales roles?
Haemonetics Sales positions generally require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, business, or healthcare administration, along with demonstrated account management or clinical sales experience. Familiarity with hospital procurement processes, blood management workflows, or transfusion medicine environments strengthens your application considerably. Many roles also expect experience managing multi-stakeholder relationships within health systems or blood centers.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Haemonetics?
Applications go through the Haemonetics careers portal, where roles are listed by territory and business unit. You can also find Haemonetics Sales openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which saves time by showing only roles relevant to your work authorization situation. Tailoring your resume to highlight clinical account management and any blood or hospital sector experience will improve your chances of clearing the initial screen.
How do I time my application around the H-1B process?
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration in March each year, with approved petitions starting on October 1. If you are on OPT, target Haemonetics Sales roles at least six months before your OPT expires to give your employer enough runway to file a petition and have it selected in the lottery. If your registration is not selected, your employer may need to evaluate cap-exempt alternatives or adjust your start timeline.
