ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for assigned athletic teams.
- Conduct team and individual training sessions focused on strength, speed, agility, flexibility, mobility, and conditioning.
- Monitor student-athlete progress and adjust training programs as needed to maximize performance and reduce injury risk.
- Collaborate with Sports Medicine staff regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols.
- Assist with performance testing and evaluation of student-athletes.
- Educate student-athletes on proper training techniques, nutrition, recovery, hydration, and overall wellness.
- Maintain a safe and organized training environment and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Assist with supervision and scheduling of strength and conditioning facilities.
- Maintain accurate records related to training programs, testing data, and attendance.
