Working closely with the Dean, faculty, Admissions, and university partners, the Manager supports students from initial enrollment as a pre-nursing student through acceptance and enrollment in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program, ensuring compliance with School of Nursing policies, accreditation standards, and Texas Board of Nursing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and outreach efforts to attract qualified nursing applicants.
- Manage pre-nursing student enrollment, progression, and student selection processes for the undergraduate BSN program.
- Provide academic advising and support for approximately 300-350 pre-nursing students.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies that promote retention, progression, and graduation.
- Coordinate initial student readiness requirements for clinical participation upon acceptance into the BSN program.
- Provide a smooth handoff of clinical readiness to the Undergraduate Clinical Placement Coordinator role upon student enrollment into the BSN Program’s first-semester courses.
