Target roles that require specialized technical expertise
Hyosung's sponsorship activity tends to concentrate in roles tied to its core materials and apparel operations. Focus your application on positions requiring specialized technical or scientific knowledge, these are the most likely to support an H-1B petition.
Understand that sponsorship is selective at Hyosung
Hyosung sponsors visas on a limited basis, so competition for sponsored roles is real. Position yourself as a candidate with skills that are genuinely difficult to source domestically, particularly in textile engineering, materials science, or supply chain management.
Connect your degree directly to the role you're applying for
H-1B eligibility requires a specialty occupation with a specific degree requirement. When applying to Hyosung, make sure your academic background directly maps to the job description, a mismatch between your degree field and the role can derail sponsorship.
Research Hyosung's U.S. business lines before applying
Hyosung operates across multiple segments including fibers, textiles, and performance materials. Understanding which U.S. entity or division you're applying to helps you tailor your application and signals genuine interest in the company's specific business.
Apply early and follow up on sponsorship willingness
For selective sponsors in Fashion & Apparel, timing matters. Apply as early as possible in the hiring cycle and confirm the role is open to sponsorship before investing significant time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Prepare to clearly articulate your long-term value
Companies that sponsor on a selective basis need strong business justification. Be ready to explain concretely why your skill set, whether in materials innovation, product development, or operations, serves Hyosung's U.S. strategy in a way that justifies the sponsorship investment.

Find Hyosung JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hyosung sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Hyosung does sponsor H-1B visas for qualifying roles in the United States. The company's sponsorship activity is selective rather than high-volume, so sponsored positions tend to require specialized expertise in areas aligned with its Fashion & Apparel and materials business. Candidates with highly specific technical backgrounds are the most competitive applicants.
Which roles at Hyosung are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Hyosung is most commonly associated with roles that require specialized technical or scientific qualifications, think materials engineering, textile development, and supply chain or operations management. General business or administrative roles are less likely to qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B standards, so candidates in those fields face a higher bar.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Hyosung?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find current openings at Hyosung that are open to H-1B sponsorship. The platform filters jobs by verified sponsorship history, so you're not wasting time applying to roles where sponsorship is unlikely. Search for Hyosung directly to see active listings with sponsorship context already surfaced.
What is the typical H-1B sponsorship timeline if I receive an offer from Hyosung?
Once you have an offer, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, which typically takes one to two weeks. The H-1B petition is then filed with USCIS, either in the annual April cap lottery or under cap-exempt circumstances. Standard USCIS processing runs three to five months, with premium processing available to reduce that to about 15 business days.
How do I strengthen my application for a sponsored role at Hyosung?
Start by ensuring your degree field clearly aligns with the role you're targeting, Hyosung's H-1B filings reflect a focus on technical and specialty positions where that alignment is non-negotiable. Highlight any experience in the apparel, materials, or manufacturing sectors. Be direct with recruiters early about your need for sponsorship to avoid late-stage surprises in the hiring process.
