Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
USCIS evaluates Engineering roles under the specialty occupation definition, requiring a direct relationship between your degree field and the job duties. A degree in electrical engineering supporting a software engineering role can trigger scrutiny, so prepare a clear narrative connecting the two before applying.
Target IntePros roles with defined technical requirements
IntePros staffs Engineering talent across Technology and Software clients, so prioritize postings that list specific tools, frameworks, or engineering disciplines. Roles with vague requirements are harder to support in an LCA and visa petition than positions with well-defined technical scope.
Clarify the end-client arrangement before accepting an offer
As a staffing firm, IntePros often places engineers at client sites. Ask upfront whether the LCA will list IntePros or the end client as the worksite employer, since DOL prevailing wage requirements apply to the actual work location and that affects your petition's foundation.
Confirm EB-2 or EB-3 eligibility early in conversations
IntePros has sponsored employment-based Green Cards for Engineering roles. If permanent residency is your goal, confirm during the offer stage whether PERM labor certification is part of the package, and ask how long the company typically waits before initiating the process.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active Engineering openings at IntePros
Browse Engineering roles at IntePros that are open to visa sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by sponsorship type so you're not wasting applications on roles where the employer won't support your status.
Protect your status during project transitions between assignments
Staffing placements can end abruptly when a client project closes. Understand your 60-day grace period under your current visa status and ask IntePros how quickly they can identify a new placement and whether a new LCA filing will be required to maintain your work authorization.

Does IntePros sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
IntePros's publicly available sponsorship history is in employment-based Green Card categories rather than H-1B. If you're currently on H-1B status and seeking a transfer, ask the recruiter directly whether IntePros can file an H-1B transfer petition, since staffing firms vary on this depending on whether they have an active client placement ready to support the petition.
Which visa types are commonly used for Engineering roles at IntePros?
IntePros has sponsored Engineering roles through EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, which are employment-based Green Card pathways. EB-3 typically applies to roles requiring a bachelor's degree, while EB-2 is used for positions requiring an advanced degree or exceptional ability. Both require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before the immigrant petition can proceed.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Engineering roles at IntePros?
IntePros recruits Engineering talent for Technology and Software clients, so expectations vary by placement. Most roles require a bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science field, and client-facing placements often require hands-on experience with specific platforms or systems. Because USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation eligibility, having a degree that directly aligns with the engineering discipline in the job description strengthens your petition significantly.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at IntePros?
You can search for open Engineering roles at IntePros through Migrate Mate, which surfaces sponsorship-eligible listings so you can filter by visa type before applying. When you reach out to IntePros recruiters, be upfront about your visa situation and the sponsorship category you need. Staffing firms move quickly, so having your resume, degree transcripts, and current I-94 or visa documentation ready speeds up the screening process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Engineering roles at IntePros?
For employment-based Green Card categories like EB-2 and EB-3, the process starts with PERM labor certification at the DOL, which typically takes 12 to 18 months before the immigrant petition can even be filed. Priority date backlogs at USCIS can then add years depending on your country of birth. If you need near-term work authorization, confirm whether IntePros can support H-1B transfer or another nonimmigrant status while your Green Card case progresses.
