Align your credentials to U.S. licensure standards
OT roles at Intuit require active U.S. state licensure. If your credentials were earned abroad, confirm NBCOT eligibility and state board reciprocity before applying. A pending license can stall an offer even when sponsorship is approved.
Target Intuit's workplace wellness and ergonomics teams
Intuit hires OTs primarily for corporate wellness and ergonomics programs supporting their tech workforce. Frame your resume around occupational performance, ergonomic assessments, and return-to-work programs, not clinical or acute care settings.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Intuit OT openings early
OT roles at tech companies post and fill quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Intuit positions that explicitly support visa sponsorship, so you're applying within the first week a role goes live.
Confirm the H-1B cap timing fits your start date
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS only accepts cap-subject petitions once per year with an October 1 start date. Discuss this calendar constraint with your recruiter early so Intuit's legal team can plan the filing timeline around your licensing status.

Find OT at Intuit JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for OTs?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for OT roles. Because OT is classified as a specialty occupation requiring at least a master's degree in occupational therapy, it meets the H-1B eligibility threshold. Cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start, so your offer timeline needs to account for that annual window.
How do I apply for OT jobs at Intuit?
Apply through Intuit's careers portal and filter by function or location. OT roles are typically posted under Workplace Services, Employee Health, or Benefits. You can also use Migrate Mate to track Intuit OT openings that confirm visa sponsorship eligibility, which saves time screening postings manually.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for OT roles?
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and Green Card pathways for qualifying OT candidates. Australian citizens are well-positioned for the E-3, which has no lottery. Canadian and Mexican citizens may qualify under TN, which covers certain health-related professions. EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship is possible for permanent residence after you've established tenure.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for OT positions?
Intuit expects candidates to hold a master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, active NBCOT certification, and a valid state license in the location of employment. Experience with corporate ergonomics, workstation assessments, or employee wellness programs is a strong differentiator over candidates with purely clinical backgrounds.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for an Intuit OT role?
Start the process by confirming your U.S. licensure status, since Intuit's immigration team needs that before filing. For H-1B, build in six or more months between your offer and your intended start date. For E-3 or TN, processing is faster, but DOL Labor Condition Application certification still adds two to four weeks before your petition can be filed.
