Focus on sensor and MEMS engineering roles
InvenSense's core work in MEMS sensor design, signal processing, and motion-tracking hardware is where most sponsored roles appear. Targeting these technical specializations gives you the strongest alignment with the company's active hiring areas.
Understand which visa types InvenSense supports
InvenSense sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, and Green Card pathways. Knowing which category applies to you before applying helps you frame your eligibility clearly and shows hiring managers you understand the process.
Use Migrate Mate to verify open sponsored roles
Sponsorship availability at InvenSense shifts with hiring cycles. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find current InvenSense openings matched to your visa type.
Leverage InvenSense's TDK connection
As part of TDK Group, InvenSense operates within a large multinational structure. Candidates with experience in global electronics or hardware companies may find their background resonates well with the organization's engineering culture and hiring expectations.
Prepare for a technical interview process
InvenSense roles in Electronics & Hardware typically involve deep technical screening. Demonstrating hands-on experience with embedded systems, sensor integration, or hardware design strengthens your case and keeps the focus on your value, not your visa needs.
Apply early in the calendar year for H-1B consideration
If you need H-1B sponsorship, timing matters. InvenSense follows the standard USCIS registration window in March, so securing an offer in the first quarter gives both parties enough lead time for the lottery and petition process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does InvenSense sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, InvenSense sponsors H-1B visas and has a consistent track record of doing so across its engineering and hardware teams. The company's work in MEMS sensors and motion technology regularly requires specialized technical talent, and H-1B sponsorship is a well-established part of how InvenSense recruits in that space.
What visa types does InvenSense sponsor?
InvenSense sponsors H-1B and Green Card pathways, including EB-2 and EB-3 categories, along with F-1 OPT for recent graduates and TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. This range of supported visa types makes it accessible to candidates at different stages of their immigration journey.
Which departments or roles at InvenSense are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at InvenSense is concentrated in technical roles tied to its core products: MEMS sensor design, firmware and embedded software engineering, signal processing, and hardware validation. Research and development functions within the Electronics & Hardware division represent the strongest hiring area for visa-sponsored candidates.
How do I find currently open visa-sponsored jobs at InvenSense?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can browse InvenSense openings filtered by visa type. This removes the guesswork of identifying whether a role is open to sponsored candidates, especially important when sponsorship availability shifts with each hiring cycle.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by InvenSense?
Align your experience with InvenSense's technical focus areas, particularly MEMS, sensor systems, or embedded hardware. Apply early in the year if H-1B sponsorship is your goal, as InvenSense follows the standard March registration window. Demonstrating specialized expertise upfront reduces friction around sponsorship discussions during the hiring process.
