Frame Your Sales Experience in Staffing Terms
Jobot's Regional Account Managers own full sales cycles in the staffing and recruiting space. When preparing your resume, translate B2B sales achievements into client acquisition and account growth metrics that align with how staffing firms measure revenue contribution.
Research Jobot's Active Markets Before Applying
Jobot operates across technology, finance, legal, and engineering verticals. Identify which regional markets have open Regional Account Manager roles and tailor your outreach to reflect familiarity with the hiring trends and employer pain points in that specific geography.
Use Migrate Mate to Track Open Roles Efficiently
Jobot posts Regional Account Manager openings across multiple regions simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter and monitor these listings filtered specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you're applying to live roles that match your immigration situation.
Clarify Your Visa Type Early in Recruiter Conversations
Jobot sponsors H-1B and TN visas for this role, and each has different employer obligations. Disclose your visa category upfront so the internal recruiter can route you to hiring managers already familiar with that sponsorship pathway rather than restarting the conversation at offer stage.
Understand How H-1B Cap Timing Affects Your Start Date
If you need a new H-1B petition, USCIS opens registration in March with an October 1 start date. Align your Jobot application timeline so an offer can be secured before or during the registration window, avoiding a months-long gap between offer and authorized start.
Confirm LCA Coverage for Your Assigned Region
For H-1B and H-1B1 roles, DOL requires a certified Labor Condition Application tied to the specific worksite location. Regional Account Managers often work across multiple offices, so verify with Jobot's HR team that the LCA reflects your actual primary work location before signing your offer.

Find Regional Account Manager at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Regional Account Managers?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Regional Account Manager roles. Because this position involves client-facing sales work in a specialized staffing context, it can qualify as a specialty occupation. Your employer will need to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and an I-129 petition with USCIS, so discuss timing with your recruiter early in the process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Regional Account Manager roles at Jobot?
H-1B is the most commonly used work visa for this role, particularly for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT candidates can start while their degree-based authorization is active, though H-1B sponsorship would be needed for long-term employment.
What qualifications and experience does Jobot expect for Regional Account Managers?
Jobot typically looks for candidates with a background in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally with exposure to the staffing or professional services industry. Strong communication skills, a track record of hitting revenue targets, and the ability to manage a client pipeline independently are consistently emphasized across their Regional Account Manager postings.
How do I apply for Regional Account Manager jobs at Jobot?
Browse open Regional Account Manager listings at Jobot through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can apply with confidence. When you apply, note your visa status clearly in your application or initial recruiter call. Jobot's recruiting team moves quickly, so having your resume and any supporting credentials ready before you reach out shortens the process considerably.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship through Jobot?
Target securing an offer from Jobot before USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year. If selected in the lottery, your petition can be filed April 1 with an employment start date of October 1. If you're transferring from another H-1B employer, Jobot can file a cap-exempt transfer petition, allowing you to start once USCIS receives the petition rather than waiting for October.
