Frame your deal experience in U.S. terms
Corporate development hiring at JPMorganChase emphasizes M&A execution, financial modeling, and post-merger integration. If your experience comes from a non-U.S. market, translate deal sizes and transaction types into language that maps directly to U.S. corporate finance conventions.
Target JPMorganChase's internal mobility pipeline
JPMorganChase frequently moves analysts from investment banking and FP&A into corporate development roles. If you're already at the firm on a current visa, an internal transfer to a Corporate Development Manager position can simplify the sponsorship process significantly compared to an external hire.
Verify your visa category fits the role structure
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 route, which has no lottery and a dedicated annual allocation, making it a faster path to a start date for qualifying candidates.
Get your degree equivalency documented early
JPMorganChase's corporate development roles require a bachelor's degree at minimum, and USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation petitions for management-track positions. If your degree is from outside the U.S., obtain a credential evaluation from a NACES-member organization before your offer letter stage.
Understand the PERM timeline for Green Card sponsorship
If JPMorganChase offers EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, the PERM labor certification process through DOL adds substantial lead time before an I-140 petition can be filed. Factor this into your negotiations, particularly if you're approaching the end of an H-1B validity period.
Use Migrate Mate to target open roles directly
Corporate Development Manager openings at JPMorganChase that include visa sponsorship aren't always flagged clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for JPMorganChase roles that match your visa type so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed.

Find Corporate Development Manager at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Corporate Development Managers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Corporate Development Manager roles. The position qualifies as a specialty occupation given the degree requirements in finance, business, or a related field. JPMorganChase participates in the H-1B cap season each April and also utilizes cap-exempt transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly sponsor for Corporate Development Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for this role, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways under EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens are well-positioned through the E-3 category, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. Green Card sponsorship typically follows several years in the role and depends on business need and your country of birth.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Corporate Development Manager candidates?
JPMorganChase typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field, often with an MBA preferred for manager-level positions. Direct M&A experience, financial modeling proficiency, and exposure to deal structuring or post-merger integration are strongly weighted. Prior investment banking or private equity backgrounds are common in this candidate pool.
How do I apply for Corporate Development Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal. For international applicants who need visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to identify which open Corporate Development Manager postings at JPMorganChase are confirmed to support your specific visa category before applying, which saves time and avoids roles where sponsorship isn't available. Tailor your resume to emphasize deal execution and financial analysis relevant to a large diversified financial institution.
How do I navigate the timeline between an offer and my visa start date at JPMorganChase?
If you need an H-1B cap filing, your start date won't be earlier than October 1 of the relevant fiscal year, so offers made in early spring carry roughly a five to six month gap before you can begin. For candidates already in H-1B status, a transfer can often be initiated more quickly. Discuss premium processing with your JPMorganChase recruiter, as USCIS premium processing reduces the I-129 adjudication window to around 15 business days.
