JOB DESCRIPTION
Join JPMorganChase Consumer and Community Banking Controls to build modern, scalable SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions that strengthen our control environment, automate reporting, and elevate collaboration across the business. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into secure, data-driven dashboards and workflows—leveraging tools like Power Automate/Power Apps, HTML/JavaScript, and Alteryx to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the end-user experience.
Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.5 trillion and operations worldwide. Chase serves nearly half of America's households with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Customers can choose how and where they want to bank: 5,200 branches, 16,000 ATMs, mobile, online and by phone.
Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas: Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Issues & Control Deficiencies and Control Governance & Reporting. This position is required to analyze business needs, propose automated reporting solutions to save cost and minimize risk while complying with all of the established controls. Once an agreement is made on the solution to be implemented, you will design and build the solution and perform QC before implementing the solution. Duties may also include generation of regular and special reports and recommendation of changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
This role is part of the Technology and Solutions team within CCB Controls, focusing on SharePoint Solutions. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions to support control functions, drive process efficiency, and enhance collaboration. The role also leverages supplemental applications and skillsets (such as HTML, JavaScript, Alteryx, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to build solutions, improve processes, and enhance user experiences.
Job responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and dashboards to support control processes and reporting needs.
- Integrate supplemental applications and tools (such as HTML, JavaScript, Alteryx, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to build solutions and improve business processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver enhancements, and drive operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Implement document management and collaboration features, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and governance policies.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for SharePoint and integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support solution maintenance and ongoing enhancements; conduct solution demos and walkthroughs for end users and requestors.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise platforms and tools.
- Diagnose performance issues, analyze data, and develop creative recommendations to address business needs.
- Assure the integrity of data through extraction, transformation, processing, analysis, and reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, statistics, economics or information management.
- Experience in SharePoint development, including designing, developing, and deploying solutions at scale.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies relevant to SharePoint customization.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 software and SharePoint integration.
- Ability to work and resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business needs, diagnose performance issues, and develop recommendations and creative solutions through data analysis and critical thinking.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to set expectations, manage timelines, and deliver results.
- Detail-oriented, with initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's framework
JPMorganChase's Project Management Analyst roles frequently require PMP certification or demonstrated familiarity with agile delivery. Credential your project experience against financial services delivery frameworks before applying, since generic project management backgrounds often screen out early.
Target divisions with recurring sponsorship activity
Corporate and Investment Banking operations and technology transformation teams at JPMorganChase post Project Management Analyst roles with the most consistent international hiring patterns. Filter your search by these business lines rather than applying broadly across all open requisitions.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active openings
Sponsored Project Management Analyst roles at JPMorganChase are time-sensitive. Use Migrate Mate to filter live openings by visa type so you're responding to roles the firm is actively filing for, not positions where sponsorship is uncertain.
Clarify your visa category early in recruiting
JPMorganChase's recruiting team handles E-3 and H-1B1 petitions differently from cap-subject H-1B filings. If you're Australian or from Singapore or Chile, confirm your category upfront. It can accelerate your timeline significantly since E-3 and H-1B1 are not subject to the annual lottery.
Negotiate offer timing around USCIS filing windows
If your role requires a cap-subject H-1B, your start date cannot precede October 1 of the fiscal year for which you're selected. Structure your offer acceptance and notice period at your current employer with this hard date in mind to avoid a gap in authorization.
Prepare a compliant document package before the offer stage
JPMorganChase's immigration team will request your degree certificates, transcripts, and employment history as soon as an offer is extended. Having certified copies and a clear employment timeline ready shortens the LCA and petition filing window under DOL and USCIS requirements.

Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Project Management Analysts?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Project Management Analyst roles. The firm has an established immigration practice that manages the full petition process, including Labor Condition Application filing with the DOL and I-129 submission to USCIS. Sponsorship availability depends on the specific business unit and whether the role falls within the annual cap cycle.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase use for Project Management Analyst roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Project Management Analyst positions, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. H-1B1 applies to candidates from Singapore and Chile, while E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens. Each category has distinct filing requirements and timelines.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Project Management Analyst roles?
Most Project Management Analyst roles at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field. Practical experience managing cross-functional projects in regulated industries is weighted heavily. PMP certification is advantageous, and familiarity with agile methodologies and financial services operating environments strengthens applications significantly.
How do I apply for Project Management Analyst jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal, but sponsored roles are not always clearly labeled. Use Migrate Mate to identify active Project Management Analyst openings at JPMorganChase that are tied to visa sponsorship, then apply directly through the company's official portal. Tailor your resume to the specific division and delivery methodology listed in the job description.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a JPMorganChase role?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March each year for the following October 1 start date. If you receive an offer from JPMorganChase requiring a cap-subject H-1B, your employer must register you during that window. Plan backwards from October 1 and discuss start date flexibility with your recruiter before signing your offer letter.
