Frame your PMP or CAPM credentials strategically
Slalom's consulting clients expect credentialed project managers, not just people with experience. Completing a PMP or CAPM before you apply signals readiness for billable client work and strengthens your specialty occupation case for H-1B or E-3 sponsorship.
Target Slalom offices in sponsor-friendly markets
Slalom operates across dozens of U.S. markets, but offices tied to major tech and healthcare clients in cities like Seattle, Atlanta, and Chicago tend to post Project Management Analyst roles more consistently. Focus your search on markets where their delivery practices are densest.
Understand how Slalom structures consulting engagements
Slalom places analysts on client engagements, so your visa petition ties to Slalom as the petitioning employer, not the client. This matters for H-1B purposes because the employer of record is Slalom, which simplifies the specialty occupation documentation compared to staffing-firm arrangements.
Align your OPT start date with Slalom's hiring cycles
Slalom recruits on a rolling basis, but consulting practices ramp hiring in late Q1 and Q3 ahead of new client engagements. Starting your OPT application early enough to be authorized before those windows opens more doors and avoids the 60-day gap period complication.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Project Management Analyst roles at verified sponsoring employers
Search Migrate Mate to surface active Project Management Analyst openings at Slalom filtered by the visa type you hold. This cuts out the manual research of checking whether an employer actually sponsors before you invest time in a tailored application.
Prepare for the LCA prevailing wage conversation before the offer
The DOL Labor Condition Application requires Slalom to pay the prevailing wage for the role and location. Research wage level data on the DOL's Foreign Labor Certification Data Center before negotiating so you understand the floor and can have an informed conversation with the recruiter.

Find Project Management Analyst at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Project Management Analysts?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Project Management Analysts. Because Slalom is the employer of record on client engagements rather than a staffing intermediary, your petition documents a clear specialty occupation relationship with a single employer. The role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, which supports the specialty occupation classification USCIS looks for.
How do I apply for Project Management Analyst jobs at Slalom?
You can search for open Project Management Analyst roles directly on Slalom's careers page or browse verified openings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Tailor your resume to highlight client-facing delivery experience, methodology knowledge like Agile or Waterfall, and any certifications such as PMP or CAPM, as these are consistently prioritized in consulting analyst hiring.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly use for Project Management Analyst roles?
Slalom sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for Project Management Analyst positions, and supports Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. Australian citizens pursuing the E-3 benefit from no lottery and faster processing. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or business analyst roles can explore the TN category, which does not require an employer petition through USCIS.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for a Project Management Analyst role?
Slalom typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication in a client-facing context is expected, not just academic exposure. A PMP or CAPM certification is a differentiator. For visa sponsorship purposes, the degree-to-job-duty alignment also needs to hold up under USCIS specialty occupation scrutiny, so how you present your qualifications matters.
How do I think about timing when pursuing a Project Management Analyst role at Slalom on a work visa?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT authorization is active before your start date and account for USCIS processing time if Slalom files an H-1B cap-subject petition on your behalf. Cap-subject H-1B petitions have an April 1 filing window for an October 1 start, so a role offered in January may have a six-month gap. E-3 and TN petitions avoid the lottery and typically process within a few weeks at a U.S. consulate.
