Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Project Analyst Jobs at Slalom Jobs
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Slalom files H-1B petitions under specialty occupation rules, so your degree field needs to connect directly to analytical or business consulting work. A degree in information systems, economics, or business analytics strengthens your case more than a general management credential.
Target Slalom's industry verticals when applying
Slalom organizes Project Analyst hiring around specific markets like technology, healthcare, and financial services. Applying to a vertical that matches your academic background or internship experience signals client-readiness and makes the sponsorship case cleaner during internal approvals.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Project Analyst roles
Slalom posts Project Analyst openings across multiple markets at different times of the year. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for visa-sponsoring Project Analyst roles at Slalom so you're not manually tracking postings across locations.
Clarify OPT or CPT authorization before your first interview
If you're on F-1 status, confirm whether your program qualifies for STEM OPT extension before Slalom's recruiting process begins. A 24-month STEM OPT extension gives the firm a longer runway before needing to file an H-1B, which consulting firms treat as a lower-risk sponsorship path.
Understand Slalom's offer timing relative to the H-1B cap
Cap-subject H-1B registrations open each March for an October 1 start date. If you receive a Project Analyst offer after April, your start date will likely fall in the following fiscal year. Aligning your job search to this calendar prevents gaps between OPT expiration and H-1B activation.
Ask the recruiter which visa types the offer supports
Slalom sponsors several visa categories including H-1B, E-3, TN, and supports PERM-based Green Card pathways. Australian nationals should ask whether the E-3 path is available, as it bypasses the H-1B lottery and has no annual cap shortage to contend with.

Find Project Analyst at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Project Analysts?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Project Analyst roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business analytics, information systems, or economics. Cap-subject candidates need to go through the annual USCIS H-1B lottery, with registration opening each March for an October 1 start date.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly sponsor for Project Analyst roles?
Slalom supports a range of visa categories for Project Analysts, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian nationals, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. Slalom also sponsors employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3, making it a viable long-term option for candidates pursuing permanent residence through employer sponsorship.
How do I apply for Project Analyst jobs at Slalom?
You can browse open Project Analyst roles on Slalom's careers page, filtering by market or practice area. Slalom hires across multiple U.S. cities, so searching by location that matches your preferred work authorization is practical. Migrate Mate also lists Slalom's visa-sponsoring Project Analyst openings in one place, which saves time if you're specifically targeting roles that support your visa category.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for a Project Analyst role?
Slalom typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a field like business, economics, information systems, or a related discipline. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field should connect clearly to the analytical and client-facing responsibilities of the role. Internship experience in consulting, project coordination, or data analysis is a practical differentiator, and familiarity with project management frameworks strengthens your application in competitive markets.
How do I time my application if I need H-1B sponsorship after OPT expires?
If your F-1 OPT expires before an H-1B is approved, you need to plan around USCIS's cap timeline carefully. H-1B registration opens in March, with selections announced by April and employment starting October 1. Securing a Project Analyst offer at Slalom by early spring gives HR time to include your registration in that cycle and avoid a gap in your work authorization.
