Align your resume to Slalom's delivery model
Slalom organizes its consulting work around local markets and dedicated client delivery teams. Highlight project-based experience, client-facing outcomes, and industry verticals rather than internal operational roles, which map more cleanly to how Slalom scopes Consultant positions.
Target Slalom's local market offices directly
Slalom staffs Consultants through its regional offices, not a centralized hiring hub. Applying to a market where you're already located strengthens your profile, since local staffing and client alignment are real factors in how quickly offers move forward.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
Slalom sponsors multiple visa types for Consultants, including H-1B, E-3, and TN. Knowing which category applies to you lets you flag it accurately in early recruiter screens, avoiding delays when the offer letter and immigration counsel engagement begin.
Prepare a specialty occupation narrative for your role
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for consulting roles closely. Document how your specific Consultant position requires a degree in a directly related field, not just any bachelor's degree. Generic consulting titles without a defined specialty draw requests for evidence.
Confirm your OPT timeline relative to Slalom's hiring cycles
Slalom recruits Consultants on a rolling basis, but F-1 OPT authorization windows are fixed. If your OPT expires within six months of a target start date, surface that in the recruiter conversation early so STEM extension or H-1B cap filing can be planned accordingly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Consultant openings by visa type
Slalom posts Consultant roles across multiple markets simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter openings specifically by the visa types Slalom sponsors, so you're applying to positions where your immigration status is already a known fit for the role.

Find Consultant at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Consultants?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Consultant roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file petitions and has done so consistently across its consulting practice. Because USCIS applies specialty occupation standards carefully to consulting titles, your petition will need clear documentation showing the role requires a degree in a specific field, not a general business background.
How do I apply for Consultant jobs at Slalom?
You can apply through Slalom's careers site or find open Consultant positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. Slalom hires Consultants into its local market offices, so identifying the right geography matters. Tailor your application to show client delivery experience and a defined practice area, such as technology, data, or business transformation.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly sponsor for Consultant roles?
Slalom sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Consultant positions, and also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-tenured employees. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens. TN covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Each visa type has different filing timelines and eligibility requirements, so knowing which applies to you early in the process matters.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for Consultant roles?
Slalom typically looks for Consultants with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, business, or a quantitative discipline, along with demonstrated client-facing project experience. For H-1B purposes, the degree field needs to connect directly to the specific consulting practice area. Candidates with a defined specialty, such as cloud architecture, data analytics, or finance transformation, tend to be stronger matches.
What should I expect for visa processing timelines when joining Slalom as a Consultant?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B cap-subject petitions follow USCIS's annual lottery and filing cycle, with an October 1 start date. E-3 and TN petitions can move faster since they're not lottery-based. F-1 OPT transitions to H-1B need to be planned around your authorization expiration date. Slalom's immigration team typically engages once an offer is extended, so flagging your status early in recruiter conversations keeps the process on track.
