Align your credentials to U.S. standards
KBR's manufacturing roles often require certifications recognized in the U.S., such as OSHA or ASME credentials. If your qualifications were earned abroad, get them evaluated by a NACES-member agency before applying so your resume reads clearly to a U.S. hiring team.
Target KBR's defense and industrial project pipelines
KBR consistently hires manufacturing talent for government-contracted and industrial infrastructure projects. Focus your search on roles tied to active government contracts, as those positions tend to have longer project timelines and stronger employer incentive to see through a full visa filing.
Understand how EB-2 and EB-3 differ for manufacturing
EB-3 covers skilled workers and is the more common Green Card path for manufacturing roles. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability. Knowing which category your role falls under helps you have an informed conversation with KBR's HR team about the PERM process early.
Ask about the PERM timeline before accepting an offer
PERM labor certification through DOL can take a year or more before USCIS even receives the petition. If you're already in the U.S. on a time-limited status, ask KBR's immigration team when they would initiate PERM so you can plan your status maintenance accordingly.
Use Migrate Mate to find open KBR manufacturing roles
Filtering by visa sponsorship across a large employer like KBR manually is time-consuming. Migrate Mate lets you browse verified manufacturing openings at KBR filtered by sponsorship type, so you can focus your applications on roles where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Prepare for E-Verify as part of KBR's onboarding
KBR, as a federal contractor, is required to use E-Verify for all new hires. Make sure your work authorization documents are current and consistent across your I-9 and any pending visa filings before your start date to avoid onboarding delays.

Find Manufacturing at KBR JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KBR sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
KBR's manufacturing sponsorship activity has primarily been in the employment-based Green Card categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B. H-1B is more commonly associated with specialty occupation roles in engineering or technology. If you're applying for a manufacturing position, it's worth discussing with KBR's HR team which visa pathway applies to the specific role you're targeting.
Which visa types are commonly used for Manufacturing roles at KBR?
KBR has sponsored manufacturing workers through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, which require employer-initiated PERM labor certification through the DOL. EB-3 is the more typical route for skilled manufacturing positions that require at least two years of training or experience. KBR has also used H-2A for certain temporary agricultural and labor needs within its project portfolio.
What qualifications does KBR expect for sponsored Manufacturing positions?
KBR typically looks for candidates with hands-on experience in industrial, defense, or infrastructure manufacturing environments. Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training, quality management credentials, or technical trade qualifications strengthen your profile. For Green Card sponsorship, the role must also meet DOL's prevailing wage requirements, so having documented experience that clearly maps to the job description is critical during the PERM process.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at KBR?
You can browse and apply for KBR manufacturing roles through Migrate Mate, which aggregates sponsorship-verified openings so you're not guessing which postings support visa sponsorship. Applications typically go through KBR's own careers portal after you identify the right role. Tailor your resume to emphasize U.S.-recognized certifications and any experience with government-contracted or large-scale industrial manufacturing projects.
How long does KBR's visa sponsorship process take for Manufacturing hires?
The timeline depends on the visa category. For EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, the process starts with PERM labor certification through DOL, which currently averages 12 to 18 months before USCIS receives the petition. Total Green Card processing can extend several years depending on your country of birth and priority date. Starting the conversation with KBR's HR team early in the hiring process gives you the clearest picture of what to expect.
