Align your background with EdTech engineering needs
Kiddom's platform centers on curriculum delivery, assessment data, and classroom tools. Highlighting backend, data infrastructure, or full-stack experience in product-driven environments signals direct relevance to what their Engineering team actually builds.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before applying
Employers sponsoring H-1B visas must participate in E-Verify. Verifying this through the E-Verify employer search before you apply tells you Kiddom has the compliance infrastructure already in place to support your work authorization.
Target roles that map cleanly to your degree
H-1B approval for Engineering roles depends on USCIS confirming a specialty occupation. A software engineering title backed by a computer science or electrical engineering degree creates a straightforward credential match that reduces petition risk.
Time your application around H-1B filing windows
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, your start date can't be before October 1. Factor this into your offer negotiation so your expected start date aligns with what USCIS allows under the fiscal year cap cycle.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Kiddom Engineering openings
Engineering roles at education companies like Kiddom aren't always listed on general job boards. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Kiddom's sponsored Engineering positions and track new postings as they go live.
Ask about LCA filing scope during offer discussions
Before signing, confirm the Labor Condition Application will cover your actual work location. If Kiddom operates in a hybrid or remote setup, the DOL-required prevailing wage determination needs to reflect where you'll physically be working.

Find Engineering at Kiddom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Kiddom sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Kiddom has sponsored H-1B visas for Engineering roles. Sponsorship depends on the specific role, your qualifications, and whether the position meets USCIS's specialty occupation standard. Engineering titles backed by a directly related bachelor's degree generally satisfy that standard. Confirm sponsorship availability with the recruiter early in the process rather than waiting until the offer stage.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Kiddom?
Applications go through Kiddom's careers page. Browse open Engineering roles, filter by team or function, and apply directly through their portal. If you need visa sponsorship, mention it during the initial recruiter screen rather than after an offer is made. You can also find Kiddom's sponsored Engineering listings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles open to visa holders.
Which visa types does Kiddom use for Engineering roles?
Kiddom has sponsored H-1B, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Engineering positions. H-1B is the most common path for full-time employment. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT cover recent graduates in the short term. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican engineers under qualifying job categories. EB-2 and EB-3 represent longer-term permanent residence pathways the company has pursued for Engineering staff.
What qualifications does Kiddom expect for Engineering roles?
Kiddom's Engineering team focuses on building scalable education technology, so experience with backend systems, APIs, or data pipelines is commonly relevant. A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field is typically expected for H-1B sponsorship purposes. Roles vary from early-career to senior levels, so review each job description carefully for specific stack and experience requirements.
How do I plan around visa timelines when targeting Kiddom Engineering roles?
If you're on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT, your employer needs to file your H-1B petition by the April 1 deadline for a October 1 start. If you're in a 60-day grace period between jobs, you have limited time to secure a new offer and have a petition filed. Start outreach to Kiddom well before your current status expires, and confirm sponsorship intent before investing heavily in the interview process.
