Align your DevOps credentials with KPMG's stack
KPMG's DevOps work runs on enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting regulated audit and advisory workflows. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud paired with experience in CI/CD pipelines for compliance-heavy environments will strengthen your profile before you apply.
Target KPMG's technology consulting practice lines
DevOps openings at KPMG often sit within advisory or technology transformation practices, not just internal IT. Filtering your search by these business units surfaces roles more likely to have established visa sponsorship workflows and global mobility support.
Use Migrate Mate to track open DevOps roles at KPMG
Migrate Mate lets you filter KPMG's DevOps postings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you're only applying to roles where H-1B or E-3 support is confirmed, not guessing from a generic job listing.
Understand how LCA filing shapes your offer timeline
Before KPMG can file your H-1B petition, a Labor Condition Application must be certified by the DOL. Factor in at least one to two weeks for LCA processing when negotiating your start date, especially if you're in a grace period or on expiring OPT.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Large professional services firms sometimes distinguish between sponsoring a new H-1B cap-subject petition and supporting a transfer from an existing one. Confirm with your KPMG recruiter which scenario applies to you before accepting an offer.
Document your DevOps specialization for specialty occupation purposes
USCIS requires DevOps roles to qualify as specialty occupations, meaning a specific bachelor's degree in a relevant field must be tied to the position. Gather transcripts, degree evaluations, and a precise job description that maps your role to that requirement.

Find DevOps at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for DevOps roles?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for DevOps positions. The firm has established immigration support processes and works with legal counsel to handle petitions. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, you'll need to be selected in the USCIS lottery in April before a petition can be filed, so timing your job search accordingly matters.
How do I apply for DevOps jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal, where you can filter by role and location. Migrate Mate also lists KPMG's DevOps openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, which saves time if you only want roles where sponsorship is confirmed. Tailoring your resume to KPMG's technology consulting work improves your chances of clearing initial screening.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for DevOps positions?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas most frequently for DevOps hires, covering both cap-subject petitions and cap-exempt transfers. Australian citizens may be eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and processes at a U.S. consulate. For longer-term pathways, KPMG has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for DevOps professionals.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for DevOps roles?
KPMG typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is expected. For H-1B purposes, your degree must align directly with the specific DevOps role, so a strong educational match strengthens the petition.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at KPMG?
For H-1B cap-subject petitions, the process starts with the April lottery. If selected, USCIS standard processing takes three to five months, though premium processing can reduce that to about two weeks. E-3 applicants can move faster since consular processing typically takes two to four weeks after the employer's LCA is certified by the DOL.
