Frame your HR credentials for professional services
KPMG's HR roles typically require experience supporting large, matrixed organizations. Emphasize HR business partner experience, workforce planning, or talent acquisition work within regulated industries like financial services, consulting, or audit firms to align with what their hiring managers prioritize.
Target KPMG's People and Culture function directly
KPMG centralizes HR under its People and Culture organization. Search for roles under that branding rather than generic HR titles. Roles tied to talent strategy, DEI programs, and performance management have historically been part of this function and tend to attract sponsorship-eligible candidates.
Understand how KPMG structures its LCA filings
Before your offer stage, confirm with your KPMG recruiter which office location your role is tied to. The Labor Condition Application filed with DOL locks in the prevailing wage by geographic area, and KPMG's major hubs include New York, Chicago, and Atlanta.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open HR roles at KPMG
Filter by role type and visa sponsorship to surface KPMG Human Resources listings that are actively accepting international candidates. Migrate Mate lets you focus your search on verified sponsoring employers without sifting through postings that exclude visa holders.
Clarify E-3 eligibility before applying if you're Australian
If you hold Australian citizenship, the E-3 visa is a faster, cap-exempt alternative to the H-1B for HR roles at KPMG. Unlike the H-1B, there's no lottery. You can begin the process after receiving an offer, and KPMG has sponsored both visa types for this function.
Plan your timeline around KPMG's onboarding cycle
KPMG typically runs structured onboarding cohorts, and your start date affects when your employer needs to file your petition with USCIS. A cap-subject H-1B has a fixed October 1 start date, so misaligning your offer timing can mean a six-to-twelve month wait before you can begin.

Find Human Resources at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles. HR positions at KPMG generally qualify as specialty occupations because they require at minimum a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. KPMG's size and established immigration infrastructure mean the process is handled through their legal and HR compliance teams, not improvised case by case.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at KPMG?
Apply directly through KPMG's careers portal and filter for HR or People and Culture roles. You can also use Migrate Mate to surface KPMG HR positions that explicitly support visa sponsorship, which saves time screening out listings that don't apply to international candidates. Tailor your application to the specific function, whether that's HR business partnering, talent acquisition, or total rewards, rather than applying broadly.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly sponsor for Human Resources roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for most international HR candidates and the E-3 visa for Australian citizens. For candidates already on employer-sponsored Green Card pathways, KPMG also supports EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa classifications. Which visa applies to you depends on your nationality, degree level, and how specialized your HR function is.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for sponsored Human Resources roles?
KPMG's HR roles typically require a bachelor's degree at minimum, with many mid-to-senior positions expecting a master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration. Practical experience in HR business partnering, HRIS systems like Workday, or talent acquisition within professional services or regulated industries strengthens your candidacy considerably. HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR are viewed favorably but are rarely listed as hard requirements.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a KPMG Human Resources role?
If you're on an H-1B, the timeline depends on the lottery and USCIS processing. Standard processing runs three to five months after the April filing window, with an October 1 start date. Premium processing through USCIS cuts that to roughly 15 business days for a decision. If you're Australian and eligible for the E-3, processing at a consulate abroad typically runs two to four weeks after your interview is scheduled.
