Target seasonal landscaping roles
LandCare's sponsorship activity centers on grounds maintenance and landscaping work. Focus your applications on field-based, seasonal positions rather than corporate roles, as these are the jobs most likely to come with H-2B sponsorship attached.
Understand the H-2B timeline
H-2B visas are tied to specific seasonal work periods and have strict filing windows. Research when LandCare typically begins recruitment for the upcoming season so you can position yourself early before sponsorship slots are allocated.
Demonstrate relevant grounds or landscaping experience
LandCare values demonstrated hands-on experience in commercial landscaping, turf management, or grounds maintenance. Applicants who can show a clear work history in these areas stand out most in the H-2B sponsorship process.
Search verified sponsors before applying broadly
Not every landscaping employer is willing to navigate H-2B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on companies like LandCare that have a proven track record.
Be ready for regional deployment
LandCare operates across multiple U.S. markets, and H-2B sponsorship is often tied to specific branch locations and regional contracts. Flexibility about which state or city you work in can meaningfully improve your chances of securing a sponsored position.
Prepare your documentation early
H-2B sponsorship requires workers to have their paperwork in order before the petition is filed. Have your passport, prior work records, and any relevant certifications ready well ahead of LandCare's recruitment window to avoid delays.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LandCare sponsor H-1B visas?
LandCare does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Its sponsorship activity is concentrated in the H-2B visa program, which supports temporary seasonal workers in landscaping and grounds maintenance. Job seekers looking for professional or specialty occupation roles that require H-1B sponsorship would be better served exploring other employers in different industries.
What visa types does LandCare sponsor?
LandCare sponsors the H-2B visa, a nonimmigrant visa for temporary non-agricultural workers. This is the primary pathway the company uses to hire foreign nationals for seasonal grounds maintenance and landscaping roles. If you're pursuing an H-2B position in the facilities and property services industry, LandCare is one of the more active sponsors operating in that space.
Which roles at LandCare are most likely to come with visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at LandCare is concentrated in field-level landscaping and grounds maintenance positions. These are hands-on, seasonal roles involving turf care, planting, irrigation, and general property upkeep for commercial clients. Corporate, administrative, or management roles at LandCare are not typically associated with the company's H-2B sponsorship activity.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at LandCare?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find verified sponsored positions at LandCare. You can filter by employer name, visa type, and industry to see active H-2B openings from companies with a documented sponsorship history. Because H-2B roles fill quickly during peak recruitment windows, checking regularly and applying early gives you the best chance of securing a position.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by LandCare?
The strongest applicants for LandCare's H-2B roles bring relevant experience in commercial landscaping, grounds care, or related outdoor work. Demonstrating physical capability, reliability, and familiarity with landscaping equipment helps significantly. Being flexible about location and available at the start of the seasonal work period also puts you in a stronger position, since H-2B sponsorship is tied to specific timeframes and regional contracts.
