Target roles that align with sponsored visa types
Magellan Jets has sponsored H-1B and Green Card pathways, which typically support specialized professional roles. Focus your application on positions requiring degree-level qualifications in operations, technology, or aviation management to align with their sponsorship history.
Understand the private aviation hiring cycle
Private aviation firms like Magellan Jets tend to hire in concentrated bursts tied to fleet growth and client expansion. Monitor their openings closely and apply early, as specialized roles with sponsorship attached often fill faster than standard positions.
Highlight credentials relevant to aviation operations
Magellan Jets operates in a highly regulated industry where technical expertise and compliance knowledge matter. Emphasize certifications, relevant software experience, or operational backgrounds that directly support private charter logistics and client service functions.
Clarify your visa situation upfront in your application
Because Magellan Jets sponsors selectively, being transparent about your visa type and timeline removes friction early. Mentioning that you require H-1B or TN sponsorship in your cover letter helps hiring teams flag your application to the right decision-makers faster.
Research which departments have historically sponsored
Sponsorship at companies like Magellan Jets is rarely company-wide. Focus on corporate, technology, and operations departments where specialized skills justify sponsorship investment. Avoid assuming client-facing or entry-level sales roles will carry the same sponsorship likelihood.
Use a platform that verifies sponsorship history before you apply
Applying blind to aviation companies costs time you may not have. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm Magellan Jets is actively sponsoring before you invest in a full application.

Find Magellan Jets JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Magellan Jets sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Magellan Jets has sponsored H-1B visas. While they are not among the highest-volume sponsors in the aviation industry, they have an active track record across professional and technical roles. Applicants should confirm current openings are H-1B eligible before applying, as sponsorship decisions are typically made on a role-by-role basis at private aviation companies.
What visa types does Magellan Jets sponsor?
Magellan Jets has sponsored H-1B visas and supported Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. They have also engaged with F-1 OPT and TN visa holders, making them a reasonable target for a range of international professionals. The mix of visa types suggests flexibility, though sponsorship is selective and typically reserved for specialized roles.
Which departments or roles at Magellan Jets are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Roles requiring specialized technical or professional qualifications are the most common candidates for sponsorship at companies like Magellan Jets. This includes positions in operations, technology, finance, and aviation logistics. Client-facing or entry-level roles are less likely to carry sponsorship, so targeting corporate or back-office functions gives you the strongest odds of finding a sponsored opening.
How do I find currently open visa-sponsored jobs at Magellan Jets?
The most reliable approach is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks verified sponsorship history and surfaces active job openings at companies like Magellan Jets. This saves you the guesswork of combing through general job boards where sponsorship eligibility is rarely disclosed upfront. Filter by visa type to match your specific situation before reaching out or applying.
How do I time my application to Magellan Jets around H-1B deadlines?
The H-1B cap registration window typically opens in March, with employment starting October 1 if selected. For Magellan Jets, aim to connect with their hiring team between November and February so there is enough lead time to file a petition before the registration deadline. If you are already on OPT or another status, cap-exempt scenarios may allow more flexibility in timing your start date.
