Target engineering and technical roles first
Malibu Boats' sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines tied to boat design, manufacturing, and product development. Focus your application on roles where specialized engineering or technical skills are genuinely hard to source domestically.
Understand the manufacturing hiring cycle
Manufacturing companies like Malibu Boats often hire ahead of production cycles and peak seasons. Applying in late fall or early winter gives you a better chance of landing an offer with enough runway for H-1B or TN processing before the busy season begins.
Highlight industry-specific credentials
Malibu Boats values candidates who understand marine manufacturing, materials engineering, or production systems. Certifications, thesis work, or internships tied to advanced manufacturing will strengthen your case for sponsorship beyond a standard degree.
Use OPT or CPT as a foot in the door
Malibu Boats has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, making these practical entry points for international students. Performing well during an OPT period significantly improves your chances of transitioning to a long-term sponsored role.
Research open roles before reaching out
Before contacting Malibu Boats' HR team, identify specific open positions that align with your visa type and background. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find relevant Malibu Boats openings in one place.
Be transparent about your visa situation early
Manufacturing companies run lean HR teams, so bring up sponsorship requirements clearly in your first substantive conversation. Malibu Boats has navigated visa processes before, and early transparency avoids wasted time on both sides.

What visa types does Malibu Boats sponsor?
Malibu Boats sponsors multiple visa categories, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and J-1 visa. This range suggests the company is open to candidates at various stages of their U.S. career, from students on practical training to skilled professionals seeking long-term work authorization.
Which roles at Malibu Boats are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
