Align your portfolio to connectivity infrastructure projects
Molex hires Architectural Engineers to support complex connector and cable assembly environments, not traditional building design. Tailor your portfolio to show systems integration, structural coordination, or facility-level engineering work relevant to manufacturing or electronics production settings.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Architectural Engineer openings at Molex
Molex posts roles across multiple locations and business units. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Architectural Engineer positions that list visa sponsorship, so you're not manually sorting through postings that won't support your status.
Request written confirmation of LCA coverage before accepting
Before you sign an offer, ask HR to confirm which work location your Labor Condition Application will cover. Molex operates across multiple U.S. sites, and your LCA must reflect the actual worksite where you'll be based, per DOL requirements.
Prepare a credentials equivalency letter for non-U.S. degrees
USCIS requires that your foreign degree be evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's or higher in architecture, engineering, or a closely related specialty occupation field. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-member organization before your employer files the H-1B petition.
Target roles tied to Molex's facility expansion projects
Architectural Engineer hires at Molex often spike around facility upgrades and new manufacturing buildouts. Monitoring job boards for clusters of engineering postings in a specific region can signal active projects where sponsorship timelines are already planned and budgeted.

Find Architectural Engineer at Molex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Architectural Engineers?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Architectural Engineer roles. The H-1B is the most common pathway for international candidates in this function, covering specialty occupation positions that require at least a bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a directly related field. Molex has sponsored across multiple visa categories for engineering roles, and H-1B is consistently among them.
How do I apply for Architectural Engineer jobs at Molex?
Apply directly through Molex's careers portal or find open Architectural Engineer roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect experience in structural coordination, facility systems, or connector infrastructure environments. If you're on OPT or CPT, note your work authorization status and expiration date clearly so recruiters can plan next steps.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Architectural Engineer roles?
Molex sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for engineering positions including Architectural Engineers. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals and can be a faster alternative to H-1B. For long-term permanent residence, the EB-2 or EB-3 route typically involves PERM labor certification before USCIS petition filing.
What qualifications does Molex expect for Architectural Engineer positions?
Molex typically expects a bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, architectural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. For USCIS specialty occupation purposes, your degree must directly relate to the duties of the role. Relevant experience in manufacturing facilities, structural systems, or large-scale infrastructure projects strengthens your candidacy, particularly for roles tied to Molex's production environment.
How do I handle timing if my OPT is expiring while interviewing at Molex?
If your F-1 OPT expires before an H-1B cap-subject petition takes effect on October 1, a cap-gap extension may cover the gap if your employer files before your OPT end date. Alert your Molex recruiter to your OPT expiration date as early as possible in the process so HR can coordinate filing timelines with their immigration counsel and avoid a lapse in your work authorization.
