Target roles aligned with Green Card pathways
Mozaic's sponsorship history skews toward permanent residence rather than temporary work visas. Focus your applications on roles where long-term retention matters, program management, clinical services, and operational leadership tend to fit that profile in non-profit organizations.
Understand the non-profit hiring cycle
Non-profit organizations like Mozaic often hire on grant cycles and fiscal year budgets. Timing your application around Q4 or early Q1, when new funding is confirmed, can improve your chances of landing a role with sponsorship attached.
Highlight mission alignment in your application
Mozaic works in social services, where cultural fit and mission commitment carry real weight. Frame your international background as an asset to serving diverse communities, this strengthens your candidacy alongside any visa sponsorship conversation.
Ask about EB-2 and EB-3 pathways early
Mozaic sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, not H-1B visas. Clarify which employment-based category applies to your role before accepting an offer, understanding the PERM labor certification timeline will help you plan your immigration journey realistically.
Look for roles compatible with F-1 OPT or CPT
If you're on an F-1 visa, Mozaic's willingness to sponsor OPT and CPT makes it a viable bridge employer. Use Migrate Mate to filter for verified sponsors in the social services sector so you can identify open roles that fit your current work authorization.
Prepare for a longer sponsorship conversation
Mozaic is not a high-frequency sponsor, so immigration decisions are made carefully and deliberately. Come to interviews with a clear explanation of your visa status, your authorization timeline, and what sponsorship you'll eventually need, proactive transparency builds confidence with non-profit hiring teams.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Mozaic sponsor H-1B visas?
Mozaic does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Its sponsorship activity is centered on permanent residence pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, as well as F-1 OPT and CPT for students. If you need H-1B visa sponsorship, Mozaic is unlikely to be the right fit, and you should focus your search on employers with an active H-1B filing history.
What visa types does Mozaic sponsor?
Mozaic sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Cards, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for international students. It also sponsors TN visas, which are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. This combination makes Mozaic a stronger option for candidates seeking permanent residence or those currently on student work authorization rather than temporary H-1B status.
Which roles or departments at Mozaic are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
In the Non-Profit and Social Services sector, sponsorship tends to follow specialized or hard-to-fill roles. At Mozaic, that typically means positions in program delivery, clinical or behavioral health services, and mission-critical operations. Roles requiring specialized credentials or bilingual skills can be particularly strong candidates for employer-sponsored immigration, as non-profits often struggle to source qualified local talent for those positions.
How do I find open jobs at Mozaic that include visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find roles at verified sponsors like Mozaic. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces companies with confirmed sponsorship histories and lets you filter by visa type, industry, and work authorization. This means you can browse Mozaic openings alongside other non-profit employers with real Green Card or OPT sponsorship track records, saving time and avoiding dead ends.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation when applying to Mozaic?
Be direct and early. Non-profit hiring teams appreciate transparency, and Mozaic's deliberate approach to sponsorship means they'll need time to assess the cost and process. Explain your current status, how long your existing authorization lasts, and what you'll need long-term. If you're targeting a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, mention that the PERM process aligns with long-term employment, framing sponsorship as a retention investment tends to resonate with mission-driven organizations.
