Verify your nursing credentials before applying
State licensure and credential evaluation through a CGFNS-recognized body are prerequisites before any employer can file an H-1B or start PERM. Get your credentials evaluated early so North East Medical Services isn't waiting on paperwork when they're ready to move.
Target community health center roles directly
North East Medical Services operates Federally Qualified Health Centers, which often have more structured sponsorship pipelines than private hospitals. Applying directly to open roles at their facilities puts you in front of hiring managers who have navigated international nurse hiring before.
Understand which visa fits your nursing timeline
H-1B, TN, and EB-2/EB-3 each carry different authorization windows and filing requirements. Registered Nursing qualifies as a specialty occupation for H-1B, and EB-3 is the most common Green Card pathway for nurses, which involves a PERM labor certification through DOL.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open nursing roles
Browse current nursing openings at North East Medical Services on Migrate Mate, which filters jobs by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm which roles align with your authorization status before reaching out to the hiring team.
Ask about LCA filing timelines during the offer stage
Before accepting an offer, confirm that your employer has started or is prepared to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL. LCA certification is required before USCIS can receive your H-1B petition, and delays here can compress your start date.
