ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Scientist I designs, develops, and executes research and technology development projects focused on biological product application and seed treatment. Supports development and optimization of application methods for microbial products across pre-commercial and commercial stages. This role contributes to laboratory operations and applied R&D efforts within the Seed Treatment lab and supports cross-functional initiatives including product development, formulation, and commercialization.
Essential Functions
- Design and execute experiments related to seed treatment and biological product application.
- Develop and optimize application methods, including seed-applied, liquid, and dry delivery systems.
- Interface with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and research partners, including leading tours, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and application methods. Maintain compliance with safety, SOPs, and quality standards.
