Job Roles at Power Integrations Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Power Integrations Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in chip design and power electronics
Power Integrations builds its products around integrated circuit design and power conversion. Engineers specializing in analog IC design, power electronics, or embedded firmware are the strongest candidates for visa sponsorship at a hardware-focused company like this.
Highlight semiconductor or power systems experience
Generic electrical engineering backgrounds are less competitive here. Tailor your resume to emphasize experience with power conversion topologies, gate drivers, magnetics design, or mixed-signal ICs, the technical domains Power Integrations operates in directly.
Look for roles across both domestic and international sites
Power Integrations has engineering teams in the U.S. and globally. Focus your applications on U.S.-based positions explicitly, since visa sponsorship applies only to domestic roles. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Ask about Green Card timelines during the offer stage
Power Integrations has a track record of sponsoring permanent residency, not just temporary work visas. If you're targeting a long-term career in the U.S., ask directly during negotiations whether the role includes an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathway.
Prepare for a technical interview process built around hardware depth
Electronics and hardware companies assess candidates more rigorously on domain knowledge than software firms. Expect circuit analysis, system-level design questions, and scenario-based problems tied to power efficiency, preparation signals you're ready to contribute without a long ramp-up.

Does Power Integrations sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Power Integrations sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions, primarily for engineering and technical roles in semiconductor design and power electronics. If you're in a specialty occupation aligned with their product lines, H-1B sponsorship is a realistic path at this company.
What visa types does Power Integrations sponsor?
Power Integrations sponsors H-1B and TN visas for temporary work authorization, accepts F-1 OPT candidates, and has an active Green Card sponsorship track record through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories. The combination of temporary and permanent visa support makes it a stronger long-term option than companies that only sponsor H-1B.
Which departments or roles are most likely to receive visa sponsorship at Power Integrations?
Sponsorship at Power Integrations is concentrated in technical functions, IC design, power systems engineering, applications engineering, and embedded software. Roles requiring deep expertise in analog or mixed-signal design, power conversion, or semiconductor device physics are the best fit. Corporate, sales, and generalist roles are less commonly sponsored.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Power Integrations?
Migrate Mate lists verified visa-sponsoring employers, including Power Integrations, so you can search open roles filtered by sponsorship history rather than guessing from job descriptions. Look specifically for U.S.-based engineering roles, and check whether the listing notes H-1B or OPT eligibility. Applying through channels that confirm sponsorship upfront saves time and avoids dead ends.
How do I approach the application process at Power Integrations as an international candidate?
Apply with a resume that emphasizes technical depth in power electronics or semiconductor design, vague experience won't stand out at a specialized hardware company. Flag your visa status early in the process. Because Power Integrations has sponsored both temporary visas and Green Cards, hiring managers are generally familiar with the process and less likely to be deterred by sponsorship conversations.
