Target engineering and technical roles first
Raymond's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical and specialty occupation roles common in manufacturing. Focus your search on engineering, quality, and operations positions, where visa sponsorship is a more established part of the hiring process.
Understand the visa types Raymond actively uses
Raymond sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways. Knowing which visa fits your situation before applying helps you ask informed questions and signals to recruiters that you understand the sponsorship process.
Apply early in the H-1B cycle if that's your path
Raymond has a track record of H-1B sponsorship, which means timing matters. Connecting with their recruiting team well before the April filing window gives the company time to assess your fit and initiate the petition process.
Use OPT or CPT as a foot in the door
Raymond sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it a viable first employer for recent graduates. Performing well during an OPT period significantly improves your chances of securing H-1B sponsorship when the time comes.
Highlight manufacturing-specific technical skills prominently
Employers in manufacturing sponsor visas for roles that are hard to fill locally. Emphasizing skills in areas like process engineering, quality systems, or supply chain makes your candidacy stronger and the sponsorship decision easier to justify.
Browse verified sponsorship opportunities on Migrate Mate
Many manufacturing roles that offer sponsorship aren't clearly labeled. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find Raymond openings without guessing which postings are actually visa-friendly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Raymond sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Raymond sponsors H-1B visas and has demonstrated a consistent pattern of doing so across technical and specialty occupation roles in manufacturing. If you're on OPT or another nonimmigrant status, it's worth reaching out to their recruiting team early to discuss H-1B eligibility before the annual filing window opens in April.
Which visa types does Raymond sponsor?
Raymond sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals are also part of their sponsorship history, making Raymond accessible across multiple work authorization situations.
Which departments or roles at Raymond are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Raymond tends to follow technical and specialty occupation roles, which is consistent with manufacturing employers. Engineering, quality assurance, operations, and supply chain functions are the most common areas where visa sponsorship is supported. Roles requiring a specific degree in a technical field are generally stronger candidates for sponsorship than generalist positions.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Raymond?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Raymond job openings filtered by verified sponsorship history. Rather than sorting through listings that don't specify immigration support, Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for roles at companies like Raymond that have an active sponsorship track record, saving you time and uncertainty.
How do I approach the application process at Raymond as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Lead with your technical qualifications rather than your immigration situation. Once you're in conversations with a recruiter, be straightforward about your visa status and timeline. Raymond's pattern of sponsoring both H-1B and Green Card petitions suggests a familiarity with the process, so asking clear, informed questions about their sponsorship workflow is entirely appropriate.
