Target technical and intelligence roles first
Recorded Future's sponsorship activity centers on technical positions in cybersecurity, data science, and software engineering. Focus your application on roles where specialized skills are in high demand and the company has the strongest incentive to sponsor international talent.
Leverage your F-1 OPT or CPT as a bridge
Recorded Future sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, which means it's open to hiring international students before H-1B sponsorship becomes necessary. Starting on OPT is a common path into companies like this, use it strategically to demonstrate value before your status transitions.
Understand the H-1B lottery timeline before you apply
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship at Recorded Future, align your job search with the annual H-1B registration window. Companies in cybersecurity often plan hiring around this cycle, so applying well before the April lottery deadline gives you the best shot.
Emphasize domain expertise in cybersecurity or threat intelligence
Recorded Future operates at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. Candidates who can speak to threat intelligence, machine learning, or security research are far more likely to be considered for sponsorship than generalists. Tailor your materials to their core product area.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early in the process
Not every open role at Recorded Future comes with automatic sponsorship. Raise your visa situation early in recruiter conversations, ideally in the first screen. Companies in this space generally expect the question and appreciate directness over surprises later in the process.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers in cybersecurity

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Recorded Future sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Recorded Future sponsors H-1B visas. The company operates in the cybersecurity and threat intelligence space, where specialized technical talent is consistently in demand. While sponsorship volume is modest compared to large enterprise tech firms, Recorded Future has an established track record of supporting international candidates in technical roles through the H-1B program.
Which visa types does Recorded Future sponsor?
Recorded Future sponsors H-1B visas as well as F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for international students. It also supports TN visas, which are relevant for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. This range of visa types means international candidates at different stages of their career and immigration journey may find viable paths here.
Which roles at Recorded Future are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Recorded Future tends to follow the company's core product focus: cybersecurity, threat intelligence, software engineering, data science, and machine learning. Roles requiring specialized technical knowledge are the strongest candidates for sponsorship. Positions in sales, marketing, or general operations are less commonly sponsored at companies of this size and profile.
How do I find currently open sponsored roles at Recorded Future?
The most reliable approach is to search specifically for roles where Recorded Future has a sponsorship history, rather than assuming all open positions qualify. Migrate Mate lets you browse verified sponsors by company and filter jobs by visa type, so you can focus your effort on positions where sponsorship is a realistic outcome rather than an assumption.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored at Recorded Future?
Positioning matters more than volume at a company of Recorded Future's size. Align your skills tightly with their cybersecurity and AI product focus, raise your visa status early in the recruiter conversation, and consider starting on F-1 OPT if you're currently a student. Demonstrating clear domain value in threat intelligence or security research significantly strengthens the sponsorship case.
