Align your resume to Reflection AI's stack
Reflection AI's Engineering roles cluster around large-scale model training, distributed systems, and ML infrastructure. Frame your experience around systems you've scaled, not just technologies you've used. Concrete throughput or latency improvements land better than tool lists.
Confirm OPT or CPT eligibility before applying
F-1 students should verify their OPT authorization dates and STEM extension eligibility before submitting applications. A 60-day gap between OPT expiry and a start date is recoverable if you plan ahead, but surprises during offer negotiations create friction.
Target roles with a dedicated engineering function
Reflection AI's open Engineering headcount signals active team build-out, which correlates with stronger sponsorship willingness. Focus on roles tied to core product delivery rather than generalist or operational functions, where sponsorship conversations tend to stall.
Raise visa status early in the recruiter screen
Mention your visa type in the first recruiter call, not at the offer stage. For E-3 or TN candidates, clarifying that your employer's role is limited to filing an LCA or a TN support letter, not a full USCIS petition, removes the most common employer hesitation.
Understand the LCA process your employer must file
For E-3 and H-1B roles, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your petition. Knowing this sequence lets you set realistic timelines with your recruiter and avoid misaligned start date expectations during offer negotiation.
Use Migrate Mate to track Reflection AI's Engineering openings
Reflection AI's Engineering roles move quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter live openings by visa type so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is confirmed, not inferred from a generic careers page that rarely specifies immigration support.

Find Engineering at Reflection AI JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Reflection AI sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Reflection AI's publicly documented sponsorship activity covers E-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Engineering roles. H-1B sponsorship is not confirmed in their recent filings. If you're on H-1B status or need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, clarify directly with the recruiter early in the process before investing time in interviews.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Reflection AI?
Apply through Reflection AI's careers page or browse their current Engineering openings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. Tailor your application to the specific engineering domain, whether that's ML infrastructure, distributed systems, or model training. Disclose your visa status in your initial recruiter screen so sponsorship logistics don't surface as a surprise at the offer stage.
Which visa types are commonly used for Engineering roles at Reflection AI?
Reflection AI has sponsored E-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Engineering positions. E-3 is available only to Australian citizens. TN covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are available to international students completing U.S. degrees. Each pathway has different authorization timelines, so confirm which applies to your situation before accepting an offer.
What qualifications does Reflection AI expect for Engineering roles?
Reflection AI's Engineering roles are research-adjacent and technically demanding. Most postings expect strong fundamentals in systems programming, distributed computing, or machine learning, with evidence of having worked at scale. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for visa purposes, but demonstrated hands-on experience with large-scale infrastructure or training pipelines carries significant weight in their evaluation process.
How do I time my application around visa processing deadlines?
For F-1 OPT, USCIS recommends filing 90 days before your authorization end date. TN status can be obtained at a port of entry, which compresses the timeline significantly compared to USCIS-adjudicated petitions. E-3 consular processing in Australia typically takes two to five weeks for an appointment slot. Build backward from your intended start date and share that timeline with your recruiter so offer paperwork is initiated in time.
