Target roles that align with your visa type
RoboForce sponsors several visa categories including H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT. Research which roles historically attract each visa type, engineering and software positions are the most common entry points for sponsored candidates at technology companies.
Apply during OPT or CPT to build a relationship early
RoboForce supports F-1 OPT and CPT, meaning you can join before needing H-1B sponsorship. Starting on OPT gives you time to prove your value before the H-1B filing window opens in March.
Understand the H-1B timeline before you apply
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship at RoboForce, you need an offer in hand before the April lottery registration window. Plan your application and interview process to conclude well before March to avoid missing the cycle.
Canadian and Mexican nationals should highlight TN eligibility
RoboForce sponsors TN visas, which don't require a lottery and can be processed quickly. If you qualify, explicitly noting your TN eligibility in your application can make you a more straightforward hire for the company.
Search for verified sponsoring employers before applying broadly
Not every job posting at a tech company guarantees visa support. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and focusing your energy on employers like RoboForce that have an active track record.
Prepare to discuss your visa status clearly in early conversations
Technology companies value candidates who understand their own sponsorship requirements. Come into recruiter calls at RoboForce ready to explain your current status, work authorization timeline, and which visa pathway applies to you.
