Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Supply Chain Jobs at Swissport Jobs
Frame your credentials around aviation logistics
Swissport's supply chain roles sit inside a regulated aviation environment, so tailor your resume to highlight experience with time-sensitive cargo flows, ground handling vendor networks, or perishable freight coordination rather than general procurement or retail logistics.
Target roles tied to cargo hub operations
Swissport concentrates supply chain hiring around major air cargo hubs. Prioritize applications at locations with dedicated freight terminals, where headcount needs are more stable and employer-sponsored immigration decisions get made at the regional level rather than corporate.
Understand the PERM-first pathway Swissport uses
Swissport has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for supply chain professionals, which means the process runs through PERM labor certification at DOL before USCIS ever sees your petition. Expect a multi-year timeline and confirm your employer contact understands that sequence before signing an offer.
Raise sponsorship in the offer negotiation stage
Don't wait until onboarding to surface visa needs. Once you have a verbal offer for a supply chain role, ask directly whether the position is eligible for employment-based sponsorship and who internally manages the PERM filing, since Swissport's immigration support varies by location and role level.
Use Migrate Mate to find open supply chain positions
Swissport posts supply chain roles across multiple job boards inconsistently. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Swissport supply chain openings that have a verified sponsorship history, so you're applying to positions where the pathway already exists rather than guessing.
Build documentation of specialized aviation supply chain work
EB-2 and EB-3 petitions require demonstrating that your role meets the specific educational and experience thresholds DOL and USCIS apply. Collect performance reviews, SOPs you authored, and vendor contracts you managed now, before any petition begins, so your employer's attorney has clean evidence ready.

Find Supply Chain at Swissport JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Swissport sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chains?
Swissport's primary sponsorship pathway for supply chain roles has been employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, not H-1B transfers. Many supply chain positions at Swissport are classified as requiring specialized operational experience rather than a theoretical specialty occupation degree requirement, which affects H-1B eligibility. If you're already on an H-1B, it's worth clarifying the role's USCIS classification directly with your recruiter.
Which visa types are commonly used for Supply Chain roles at Swissport?
Swissport has used the EB-3 category most commonly for supply chain professionals, which covers roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree or, in some cases, skilled worker positions with two or more years of specialized experience. EB-2 sponsorship applies to roles requiring an advanced degree or demonstrably exceptional expertise in logistics or supply chain operations within the aviation services sector.
What qualifications and experience does Swissport expect for Supply Chain roles?
Swissport's supply chain openings typically require experience in vendor coordination, freight operations, or airport ground logistics rather than generalist procurement backgrounds. Roles at the coordinator level often expect two to four years of relevant logistics experience, while manager-level positions lean toward candidates with aviation or intermodal freight exposure. Familiarity with cargo compliance requirements or ground handling contracts strengthens your application significantly.
How do I understand the timeline for Swissport's sponsorship process?
An employment-based Green Card through Swissport involves three sequential stages: PERM labor certification at DOL, which currently takes over a year in most cases; an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS; and adjustment of status or consular processing. Your priority date at the I-140 approval stage determines your actual wait for a Green Card, which can extend several years for applicants born in India or China.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Swissport?
Swissport posts supply chain openings across its own careers portal and third-party job boards, but listings with confirmed sponsorship history can be harder to identify without filtering tools. Use Migrate Mate to browse Swissport supply chain roles that have a verified sponsorship track record, then apply directly through Swissport's careers site. Tailor your application to the specific hub location and cargo operation type listed in the job description.
