Align your stack with Synechron's delivery focus
Synechron's Engineering work centers on fintech platforms, cloud-native development, and data integration. Tailoring your resume to highlight experience in financial systems, microservices, or API development positions you as a direct fit for their client delivery model.
Verify your degree field matches the petition
H-1B specialty occupation requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the Engineering role. A computer science or software engineering degree maps cleanly, but unrelated fields may require a credential evaluation through a USCIS-recognized evaluator before your employer files.
Target roles open before the H-1B registration window
USCIS H-1B registration typically opens in March for an October 1 start date. Apply to open Engineering positions at Synechron by January so the offer and LCA filing can be completed before the registration deadline closes.
Ask recruiters specifically about OPT and CPT support
Synechron sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, which matters if you're transitioning from a university program. Confirm early in the recruiter conversation whether the specific Engineering role qualifies for your current work authorization type before advancing through interviews.
Browse Synechron Engineering roles through Migrate Mate
Filtering for visa-sponsored Engineering openings by company is faster when the job board is built for it. Migrate Mate surfaces Synechron's sponsored positions so you're not manually cross-referencing DOL disclosure data against general job listings.
Understand the LCA wage tier before negotiating salary
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL certifying your wage meets the prevailing wage for the role and location. If Synechron extends an offer below the DOL prevailing wage for your Engineering job title, the LCA will not certify and the H-1B petition cannot proceed.

Find Engineering at Synechron JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Synechron sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Synechron sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering roles. The process requires your employer to first file a Labor Condition Application with DOL, then submit an I-129 petition to USCIS after H-1B registration selection. Synechron's focus on fintech delivery means Engineering positions consistently meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires for approval.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Synechron?
Applications go through Synechron's careers portal, where Engineering roles are listed by practice area and location. You can also browse Synechron's open Engineering positions filtered by visa sponsorship availability on Migrate Mate. Prepare to discuss your technical stack, prior fintech or financial services exposure, and your current work authorization status early in the recruiter screening.
Which visa types does Synechron commonly sponsor for Engineering roles?
Synechron sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Engineering positions. TN is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering or technology roles. F-1 OPT and CPT support is available for candidates currently completing a U.S. degree program.
What qualifications does Synechron expect for sponsored Engineering positions?
Most Engineering roles at Synechron require a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a closely related field. Roles supporting financial services clients often expect experience with cloud platforms, API development, or data engineering. USCIS requires that the degree field directly relates to the duties of the sponsored position.
How do I plan my timeline around Synechron's H-1B sponsorship process?
The H-1B cap-subject process runs on a fixed federal calendar. USCIS registration opens in March, selection results come in April, and the earliest an approved petition can take effect is October 1. To stay on schedule, secure your offer and complete the DOL Labor Condition Application process well before the March registration window opens each year.
