Frame your credentials around infrastructure consulting
Tetra Tech's Partnerships Manager roles typically require demonstrated experience in government contracting, environmental consulting, or infrastructure services. Before applying, reframe your resume around client development outcomes in those verticals, not generic business development metrics.
Target Tetra Tech's federal and municipal project divisions
Tetra Tech structures much of its work around federal and municipal clients. Identify open Partnerships Manager postings tied to those practice areas, since those divisions historically hire into roles where international candidates are onboarded through sponsored positions.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Tetra Tech openings by visa type
Not every Partnerships Manager posting at Tetra Tech is tied to an active sponsorship track. Search Migrate Mate to surface roles where Tetra Tech has sponsored workers in this function, so you're applying to the right openings from the start.
Clarify your OPT or TN timeline during the interview stage
If you're on F-1 OPT or TN status, bring your authorization end date into the conversation before an offer is extended. Tetra Tech's HR teams need lead time to prepare an H-1B petition, and late disclosure risks delays or a conditional offer.
Confirm the LCA covers your actual work location
Tetra Tech operates across dozens of regional offices. Once an offer is made, verify with HR that the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL reflects your assigned office location, not a headquarters address, since mismatches can create compliance issues post-approval.
Align your application timing with the H-1B cap window
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March for an October 1 start date. If you're interviewing in the fall or winter, push for an offer letter early enough for Tetra Tech to register you in that cycle rather than waiting a full year.

Find Partnerships Manager at Tetra Tech JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Tetra Tech sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Tetra Tech does sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Manager roles, though sponsorship is evaluated on a role-by-role basis rather than applied uniformly across all open positions. Your strongest path is to confirm sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter during the initial screening call, before investing significant time in the process.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at Tetra Tech?
Applications go through Tetra Tech's careers portal, where you can filter by job function and location. For international candidates specifically, Migrate Mate surfaces Partnerships Manager openings at Tetra Tech tied to visa sponsorship history, helping you prioritize applications where your immigration needs are more likely to be accommodated from the outset.
Which visa types does Tetra Tech commonly use for Partnerships Manager hires?
Tetra Tech has sponsored workers in professional services roles under the H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 categories. For Partnerships Manager positions specifically, H-1B is the most common long-term path. TN can apply for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and F-1 OPT is often used as a bridge while H-1B sponsorship is arranged.
What qualifications does Tetra Tech expect for Partnerships Manager roles?
Tetra Tech typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, engineering, or a related field, paired with experience in professional services or government contracting. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships in infrastructure, water, or environmental sectors carries significant weight, as most Partnerships Manager openings support those practice areas.
How do I manage the timeline between an offer and my H-1B start date?
If you're starting from outside the U.S. or on a visa that expires before October 1, work with Tetra Tech's HR team to map your authorization gap early. USCIS allows premium processing to expedite I-129 adjudication to roughly 15 business days. If you're already on OPT, a timely-filed H-1B petition with a valid EAD extends your work authorization while USCIS processes the case.
